Hi Guys,
As with all the other zombies maps we have recently come across, the Reckoning Zombies map also gives us the ability to grab free power-ups hidden throughout the Project Janus Facility.
These hidden rewards can give you the edge when the undead hordes close in, especially during higher rounds where every Max Ammo or Insta-Kill counts. Below is a breakdown of all the free power-up locations across the map, so you’ll know exactly where to look.
Full Armor Powerup Location
In the PROJECT JANUS RECEPTION AREA, when we spawn into the map, we appear in front of the METAL DETECTORS at the front door of tower 1. If looking at the METAL DETECTORS, do a 180 degree turn and look out the door to the right hand side, where there is an APC / TANK located. On the left hand side of the tank, you will see the FULL ARMOR POWERUP. Simply shoot it and it will be yours.
Full Power Powerup Location
Head over to the T1 MUTANT RESEARCH LAB and locate the DEADSHOT DAIQUIRI PERK MACHINE. If you face it, turn around 180 degrees and step left a few stops then back against the wall beside it and look up. You will notice that above the main spotlight in the centre, just to the right of it there is the FULL POWER POWERUP. It is hard to see in the shadows and is always easier to see of course with a scoped weapon, such as a sniper rifle.
Double Points Powerup Location
Head over to the T1 QUANTUM COMPUTING CORE area and stand with your back up against the wall that faces the BLUE BRAIN location and the WALL GUN BUY in this area. Look up between the huge mushroomy, fungus....things and there is a FREE DOUBLE POINTS powerup hidden away in a small space, underneath some vines.
It is quite difficult to see and hit and the hit marker does not always register at times. Simply fire a load of shots with an accurate weapon into the area shown below and you should be the proud owner of this power up.
Max Ammo Powerup Location
Head to the T2 ANDROID ASSEMBLY areas of the map and over to the ANTI-GRAVITY PERSONNEL LAUNCHER it location. If facing it head on, turn to the left 90 degrees and look up along the girders and scaffolding. You will see a box sitting on top of a concrete block. Simply shoot it and it is yours.
Insta-Kill Powerup Location
Head over to the DARK ENTITY CONTAINMENT area of the map and if you have headed up the ELEVATOR from the T2 ANDROID ASSEMBLY, as soon as you arrive, look 90 degrees to the right.
There will be a ZOMBIE SPAWN window beside you. If you look in this window here you will notice on the left hand side a SERVER RACK. Simply look at the very upper LEFT HAND CORNER of this window and you should see the INSTA-KILL POWERUP right on the very edge of the server rack, closest to the window. Shoot it and its yours.
Bonus Points Powerup Location
If you head over to the EXECUTIVE SUITES area and when you get there, where the giant hole is in the middle of the floor that you can parachute down the centre of this tower, look up towards the ceiling, directly above the PROJECT JANUS SYMBOL STATUE.
You will notice there is 4 holes in the ceiling and look through the closest hole to you. Look up towards the ceiling and you will also see a RADIO PYLON on top of the roof. Zoom in with a scoped weapon and you should see a BONUS POINTS just behind the CIRCULAR RADIO TRANSMITTER. Shoot it and these free points are yours.
Nuke Powerup Location
Head over to the T2 SUB LEVEL 10 area, where the PARTICLE ACCELERATOR is located. If you look at the CRAFTING TABLE, then turn 90 degrees to your right, you will notice a fenced off area where there are some pipes. If you look directly through the fence in the centre, there is a NUKE sitting on top of the brow / gold coloured shelf. Shoot it and it is yours. This should be quite easy to see without any scoped aids on the weapon.
Fire-sale Powerup Location
Once all the previous powerups have been shot and collected, the FIRE SALE POWERUP will now become active.
This will become active in a ZOMBIE SPAWN WINDOW, directly to the left of the QUICK REVIVE PERK MACHINE in the PROJECT JANUS RECEPTION area. Look in this window toward the back wall and in the bottom right hand corner, you will see the FIRE SALE POWERUP glowing in the flames.
Shoot it and the it will spawn in front of you, ready for a bargain to be had by all.
