Hi guys,

Ever dreamed of ruling over an army of cheese-loving rodents while wearing a shiny crown? Well, in Citadelle des Morts, you can trade your zombie-slaying grind for the prestige of becoming the Rat King for a day, or at aleast, for a playthrough. It’s a hilarious and surprisingly rewarding side quest that turns you from a mere survivor into the crowned rodent monarch.

Here’s the deal, scattered across the map are 10 sneaky little rats (yes, actual rats) which we will need to find. They are quite well hidden, but fret not, we are here to help and narrow down their locations for you. Once you find them, you will need to scare them by interacting with them....trust me my face is enough to scare anyone in daylight, never mind the confines of a dark and dingy castle.....simply go prone to get close to them and give them a jump scare they will never forget.

Once all 10 rats have been located, you’ll need to steal some hidden cheese, because what’s a rat kingdom without cheese? You will then need to feed this cheese to your 10 followers in order to make them happy and recognise you as their king of all things cheesy....including your jokes. Once your furry subjects are fed, they’ll officially recognize your greatness by bestowing you with a majestic crown.

The perks you say? Oh, baby, the perks. Rock your regal headgear for the rest of the game while enjoying free perk cans, top-tier loot and upgraded weapons as rewards for filling their hungry bellies. Who needs a zombie apocalypse when you’ve got a rodent revolution?

Grab your rat radar, swipe some cheese and prepare to become the cheesiest king in the castle!

I smell a rat? Did you just rat me out?

We can scare these rats in any order we like. The first location we will find one of the 10 RATS is in the MAIN SPAWN area where this DECORATIVE FLOWER POT is located, just around the corner from the GOBBLEGUM MACHINE.

Second location can be where the NATURES PATH area meets the HILLTOP area on the hill. There is a DARK HOLE clearly visible as you go up the kill and the second rat is located to the right of this dark hole. Simply walk up to it and give it a fright that will be alright and watch is scarper.

The third rat can be found where the TOWN SQUARE, the main spawn area, meets the VILLAGE ASCENT area. You will notice a VAN which has some fire burning underneath it. Here you will find another rat keeping itself warm in the cold of the zombie apocalypse. Scare the wits out of him by going up to him and we will move onto the next rat location.

The next rat can be found just beside the CANNON location in the VILLAGE RAMPARTS area. Look for a BROKEN STEP and peer into it, you will notice a set of eyes looking back at you. Stare him in the face, don't flinch or blink and hey presto step by step....ooooohhhh baby.....he will run away.

The fifth rat can be found on the right hand side of the STAIRCASE within the CASTLE itself, underneath 2 WOODEN CHAIRS. 

The sixth rat is in the DINING HALL area, probably stuffing his face with food. It is located just beside the AMMO box on the ground floor, in a PALLET, beside one of the SWORD STATUES.

Lucky number seven rat can be found in the SITTING ROOMS area underneath the TABLE in the corner, just a metre or two away from the BUNK BEDS.

The number eight garden gate rat can be found in the ALCHEMICAL LAB near the STONE TABLET with the symbols glowing on it, that is resting up against the table. The rat is giving you a little wave underneath the table.

Number nine, who is clearly divine, rat can be found in the UNDERCROFT area up against the wall where there is a hole in the bottom of the wall.

The last rat, number ten.....who is possibly called....Len? Is located in the DUNGEON area inside the JAIL CELL where there is a zombie trapped inside. Kill the zombie and look down through the bars and you will see the small rat saying "Get me the hell outta here!"

Stealing cheese....a Brie-lliant career move

Now we have scared all 10 rats to kingdom come, if you head down to the PACK A PUNCH room, you will notice there will be a group of rats huddled around an empty PLATE. This is just behind the armour wall buy mounted on a column within this room.

What they of course are waiting on, is their dinner, which is in the form of a GREAT HUNK OF CHEESE. You like a takeaway pizza at the weekends? These rats like all of the cheese that goes on a pizza times ten, but without the pizza.....these rats in Citadelle Des Morts are cheese crazy baby.

We now need to perform the great cheese robbery by going to the MAIN SPAWN area in the TOWN SQUARE and finding the window which has RED WHEELS OF CHEESE galore in it. Simply shoot the window which contains the cheese in this area and pick up on of the big round blocks, which is located in the shop directly facing the GOBBLE GUM MACHINE in this area.

Once the window is smashed and the cheese is picked up, return to the PACK A PUNCH room and place it on the plate that the rats are huddled around. When you do this, the rats will worship you like a god and start spewing out the rewards a just king deserves such as ESSENCE, FREE PERKS, AMMOD MODS, MONKEY BOMBS, WEAPONS etc. but the piece de la resistance' that will be given to you, literally on a plate, is a CROWN.

If you go into 3rd person mode, you will be able to see this crown permanently on your head and will remain on their until the current play through has finished or been completed. You will also see it if you use a MUTANT INJECTION.

Hi guys,

there is an opportunity in Citadelle De Morts to gain a FREE RANDOM PERK deep in the belly of the castle in the UNDERCROFT area, along with all 4 ammo mods and a load of loot, in this awesome Black Ops 6 zombies map.

In order to get this random perk, we will need to initiate a mini lock down to kill 3 waves of zombies post haste. We can only really activate this small side Easter egg when near the end of the main Easter egg quest on this map.

This is because a few pre-requisites we should already have are:

• The 4 Elemental Swords

• All 4 Incantations available

• Revealed the hidden wall in the UNDERCROFT area with MELEE MACCHIATO and input all the TAVERN codes that let you place the PAGES on the BOOK to the left of this wall

Only then.....can we get this side Easter egg done and dusted.

I cast a spell on thee!

Now what we need to do, is pick up an incantation such as the one located in the UNDERCROFT AREA which is the DARK INCANTATION. 

Once picked up, head over to the WALL WITH ROWS OF SYMBOLS we mentioned above in the UNDERCROFT AREA and use the incantation spell on the wall.

When you do, you will notice that a particular row of symbols will then light up, indicating you have successfully registered the incantation spell.

What we now need to do is go around all the incantations and pick them up, come back to the UNDERCROFT AREA and use them on this wall until all 4 rows of symbols have lit up on this wall.

Lets get the other 3 INCANTATIONS and see where they are hiding out.

Heart of a Lion

The next incantation we can pick up, which can be in any order, is the LIGHT INCANTATION which can be found in the DINING HALL AREA, directly underneath the LION GRAFFITI on the wall. Pick it up and cast it on the wall to activate the next row of symbols and then we can move onto the next one.

You're Fired! Wait a minute, you don't even work for me!

The next incantation can be found is the FIRE INCANTATION which can be picked up in the COURTYARD AREA underneath the DRAGON GRAFFITI on the wall. Simply rinse and repeat the previous steps and use the incantation again on the wall. 3 rows of symbols should have lit up by now.

Electricity bills are so high lately

The last incantation to be found is the ELECTRIC INCANTATION which can be picked up in the TOWN SQUARE AREA to the left of the TAVERN outside, on the wall.

Once the last INCANTATION has been cast on the SYMBOL WALL in the UNDERCROFT AREA, it will trigger a mini lock down where the castle will fire 3 waves of zombies at you. All you need to do, is survive the carnage and chaos for a hefty reward.

The good news is no special zombies will be spawning in this lock down and to be honest, it is very easy to do.

Once you survive all 3 waves of zombies, your FREE PERK will spawn in the UNDERCROFT AREA for you to pick up. It will also come with a nice little bonus of deploying pickups for all 4 of the WEAPON AMMO MODS which is very nice indeed!

These are of course the AMMO MODS of NAPALM, DEAD WIRE, CRYO FREEZE and BRAIN ROT ammo.

The above rewards are what you will be given when playing in solo, however when playing on co-op mode with others, there is a chance that the RANDOM PERK CAN will spawn in another location in the room than the one shown in the images above. 

When it does, this also gives you the slight chance that you might also see a RAY GUN spawn from time to time as a reward, so this is definitely worth taking a gamble on doing this mini Easter egg as it is extremely easy to complete anyway.
