Hi Guys,

The next areas we will cover in this part of Liberty Falls consists of some beautiful scenic views, a cool hip-hop and modern comic store, along with some vehicle parking locations....why there needs to be car parks in the zombie apocalypse is beyond me, as I don't think zombies even know how to drive a car....do they? If they do, I hope they have a valid driving license.

The comic shop in this part of town is a very interesting place, as a superhero called AETHERELLA is on hand to deal with the zombie menace by annihilating them with an awesome display of power by laser beaming them with her eyes into oblivion. The only problem is, she cannot tell who is friend or foe.

So with like most of the other traps, make sure that you stay out of the way when this trap is activated. To avoid this deadly gaze, you will need to duck in the comic store when you activate this trap, otherwise you will be feeling the full force of her power and trust me it stings. To activate the trap costs 1500 credits but is totally worth it.

She will only fire her laser when zombies are in her field of view.  I am not sure if that is poor old Olly behind the counter in the middle....I am wondering did Aetherella's gaze take him out of the zombie equation or did the zombies get to him first?

To let you in on another secret, you can also play as this amazing super hero, albeit for a brief time, by collecting the various AETHERELLA DOLLS scattered through out the map. They can, however, only be collected by using the suction function on the Thrustodyne M23 wonder weapon that pulls objects towards it. You can either build this wonder weapon to be assured of getting it or get it from the MYSTERY BOX putting it down to luck in the end.

There are 9 AETHERELLA DOLLS in total dotted around the map and 4 of them are available in Olly's Comic Store. Once all 9 are collected, you will become a super hero in your own right, whether you like it or not.

Here are the maps for the RIVERSIDE, COMIC SHOP and BACKLOT PARKING areas:

The main points of interest in these 2 areas is:
  • Access to East Main Street area via 2 different routes
  • Access to Grease Trap Patio area
  • Access to THE ARSENAL - used to upgrade ammo and equip ammo mods
  • Aether Storm Cloud
  • 1 of 3 LTG DEVICE PARTS - need the JET GUN pull functionality to grab this from the ceiling in OLLY'S COMICS. These are used on the LTG DEVICE BUILDABE TABLE on top of the ALAMO.

  • 2 VIEWING TELESCOPES - each costs 50 credits to look through. If you look through the first viewing telescope on the left, look up to the cliff near the top right of its viewing angle. and you will see a zombie up on the clifftop dancing and just enjoying life....or undead life I mean.....or is it unlife...I'm confused.
Leave this telescope and go to the viewing telescope on the right and look up at it again. You will notice some purple beams of energy join together above its head then fire up into the sky. When you leave the second telescope, look towards the cliff normally and you will see 2 spot lights engage. This will activate disco music to start playing throughout the town and you will notice the zombies will come up to you and start dancing.

They will thank you for the short break in trying to annihilate them from existence and you can live in harmony.....very briefly before getting back to business and dealing with them again. Funny little side Easter egg.

  • RADIO HOUSE SHOP'S MANGLER DOOR - here we need the MANGLER CANNON to destroy the door that goes into the RADIO HOUSE SHOP. Charge up a MANGLER CANNON, which you can build form the CRAFT TABLE in the BACK PARKING LOT area, and blow the security gates that are pulled across the door way to this shop. They will fly off and when inside you will interact with several piles of various things on the floor, until you come across the JET GUN part called ELECTRICAL WIRE. This is one of 3 parts to build the wonderweapon that is at the MOTOR LODGE MOTEL crafting table.

  • FREE 500 CREDITS - In Olly's Comic Shop window upstairs, on the side where THE ARSENAL is located, look up at the window and if you zoom in you will see a DOLLAR $ sign stuck to the window. Simply shoot this and you will be handsomely rewarded for your hard work to the tune of 500 credits.....easy money! You will know when you have shot it correctly as you will get the dosh but it will also glow green to show you have activated it.

  • BOWLING SHOES - 1 of 5 pairs around the map. The pair in this area is located in the shop called FRANKS HARDWARE shop. Basically all you need to do is look in the window and to the right of the shop, you will see some shelves with a light flickering on and off on it. If you zoom in you will notice the light when off hides the pair of BOWLING SHOES and when it is on, you can clearly see them. These are needed to activate the MR PEEKS BOWLING CHALLENGE in the LIBERTY LANES area. Simply shoot these shoes and they will disappear in a puff of smoke and you will know it has been activated correctly.

  • Quick Revive Perk Machine - Costs 2500 credits
  • Aetherella Trap - shoots laser beams out of her eyes obliterating zombies with her super powers. Be sure to stay ducked in the comic shop when activating as it can destroy you too
  • Intel Pickup Location - Quantum Mechanical Failure Radio Message
  • Armor Upgrade - via a wall buy, upgrade armor instantly to level 2. Bit steep but worth it at 4000 credits
  • MR PEEKS REWARD CAR - 1 of 3 around the map. There are 3 cars around the map which have a BLACK PAINT and GOLD STRIPE down the side of them. If you see these, check inside to see if you can see MR PEEKDS sitting in one of the cars. If you see him, get a MANGLER CANNON and blow the car up, or if a MANGLER ZOMBIE is around, direct his cannon fire to blow up the car or last but not least, use a MUTANT INJECTION to destroy the car. When you do he will spit out lots of pickups and sometimes can be wonderweapons such as the JET GUN or RAY GUN so always worth a shot to see what he will give you.

  • Mystery Box Spawn Location
  • Ammo Box for reloads
  • C9 Gun Wall Buy - costs 1250 credit
  • PARTIAL BANK VAULT CODE POST IT NOTE - Under Olly's counter in the centre of the comic shop is 1 of 3 POST IT NOTES which contain the combination to open the VAULT in the LIBERTY LOANS AND SAVINGS BANK. Look at what is written on all 3 of them and make a note, then make your way to the bank and input the 6 digit code to open the vault. Inside is safety deposit boxes which you have 45 seconds to choose one and will need LOOT KEYS from ELITE ZOMBIES in order to open a box when inside there.

  • 4 OUT OF 9 AETHERELLA DOLLS TO PICK UP. Needs picked up by the Thrustodyne M23 wonder weapon pull function. Here are the locations of the 4 dolls in Olly's Comic Shop:

Although these streets seem quite spacious, in higher rounds they can fill up very quickly with large hordes of zombies and suddenly the streets become very narrow whenever a zombie horde has taken up one half of it. This can happen quickly because there are so many spawns points for zombies in these streets, so be careful and watch your back when training zombies in  these areas.

The maps will be updated as I go along and do the Easter egg for each level, along with building any wonder weapons so don't worry if something is missing from the map, it will eventually be added.

Thanks for reading as always guys.

Henry
