Liberty Falls Map Layouts: East Main Street -- Riverside, Olly's Comics & Backlot Parking -- Motel Alley, Bowling Alley, West Main Street, Alamo & The Bank --
Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the awesome Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 that was released yesterday, which as we all know, has my favourite game mode within it, ZOMBIES baby! To top it all off, we have also went back to basics and the original game mode of zombies being round based, as opposed to the warzone style zombies, which was okay.
Going back to the round based style of play in my opinion, is a fabulous move. You will not hear my complaining, just praising the developers and creators for that decision. It actually brought a small tear to my eye when i started the LIBERTY FALLS zombies map and I saw in the top right hand corner the tally for round one.....small things like this make all the difference.
Now lets get down to business on the map layouts for first LIBERTY FALLS and then I will move onto the next map TERMINUS which is all in good time. I will as usual be doing any Easter egg guides for the maps, secrets and how to build wonder weapons or crafting missions along the way.
So without further holdup, as Captain Price usually says in most Call Of Duty games......"Let's do this!"
Map Layout for East Main Street and related areas:
- Free MAX AMMO POWERUP from spawn point on ABANDONED ROOFTOP area. Simply look over the edge of the building towards the bridge and you will see an ammo box sitting on the bridge. Simply shoot it and it will give you an immediate MAX AMMO POWERUP sweet!
- On the map I have shown 2 AETHERELLA DOLL locations, however only one can be access from ground level in this area. You will of course need the Thrustodyne M23 wonderweapon in order to get this doll, as you will need its pull functionality to pull object towards you. The Aetherella doll you can obtain in this area is on top of the MOTEL sign for the MOTOR LODGE MOTEL. Simply use the pull function and grab the doll from atop of the sign.....simples. This is 1 of 9 dolsl you need to collect in order to become the superhero Aetherella for about 2-3 minutes, using her laser beam eyes as a weapon to annihilate zombies.
- PAIR OF BOWLING SHOES - there are 5 of these to shoot around the map and shooting all 5 pairs of these will activate the MR PEEKS BWOLING EASTER EGG where you will be teleported to the FULLER'S LANE BOWLING ALLEY to try and get a high score in the bowling Easter egg which will reward you with a Bronze, Silver or Gold trophy, depending on how many zombies you can destroy with each bowl of the ball within a set time period. The better the trophy the better the reward and can result in legendary rewards being given such as perks, wonder weapons etc. Its a very worthwhile Easter egg to pursue and once activated can be redone every few rounds. They are located just on the counter top of the till in the PUMP AND PAY GAS STATION. Simply shoot these shoes in order to activate them.
- VENDING MACHINE that just keeps on giving....until you get Melee Macchiato and then you can destroy it into a million pieces, but get multiple rewards. This vending machine is the best vending machine in history, you can melee it once every round and it will give you random rewards for FREE! The rewards it gives can range from killstreaks, salvage, perks, the RAY GUN.....yes you heard me! Pack A Punch Crystals, Aether Tools, Ammo Mods, Perks and much more. If however you but the perk Melee Macchiato it turns your punch into an almost super human punch, it will actually destroy the machine and you won't be able to use it again for the rest of your play through. You will however get more than one reward if you destroy it such as 3 or 4 at the same time when it explodes.....technically giving you 3 or 4 rounds worth of rewards for your hard work. Sometimes a smoke grenade can fall out, a packet of crisps which is a dud reward or it can get angry with you and drop a live grenade to damage your health so watch out.

SAVE AND CONTINUE FEATURE.....say what?!
In this zombies we have a nice little feature which I am sure many players have dreamed about having in previous versions of round based zombies. Most notably is the ability in this round based zombies to SAVE AND CONTINUE the game at a later point.
How many time has someone said I hope the phone doesn't ring during this playthrough, or there is a knock on the door and someone is delivering a parcel and no way to pause the game. When you get interrupted and come back, chances are it's game over man. This is a great feature which means can get to higher levels if you ever need to bug out for any reason and not start right back at ground zero round 1 each time.
Like this feature a lot as the phone never stops in this house and am constantly trying to time it when to run for the phone and get back in time before a zombie has caught up chasing me half way round the map.
You can pause the game for a limited amount of time which is 15 mins in total in a single playthrough, then it will save and exit the game when this timer runs out. Saving and continuing will resume the game at the previous completed round.
Field Upgrades
As per normal, we have the field upgrades also present in this which gives our player a unique ability. If playing in a 4 player game, making sure each player has a different ability can be very useful in relation to supporting the team as a whole.
Most you will already be familiar with if your a regular zombies player.
The FIELD UPGRADES in Black Ops 6 are:
- Energy Mine - Creates a mine of pure energy and detonates 3 times and gives out electrical damage
- Frenzied Guard - Repair armor to full and forces enemies in the area to temporarily attack and target you. Armor takes all the damage during this time
- Dark Flare - Generate an energy beam that deals lethal shadow damage and penetrates everything in its path
- Healing Aura - Heal all nearby players immediately
- Aether Shroud - Phase into the Dark Aether and become temporarily hidden from enemy detection
We also have back the beloved Gobblegum machine which offers us temporary in game bonuses and boosts when we need that extra bit of speed, damage, luck etc on our side when the zombie hordes start to get a bit too tough. To see all of the available Gobble Gums and what each one does, check out the GOBBLEGUM GUIDE.
We also have a dedicated melee weapon that can bee added to our loadouts and can be equipped by holding down the melee button for a second or two.
