Hi guys,

welcome to the revamped Shi No Numa zombie map for Call Of Duty Vanguard. This map was originally released in Map Pack 2 of Call of Duty: World at War and is one of my favourite maps of all time. It has expanded some areas slightly and added a new DIG SITE area to the mix to follow the current storyline.

The Vanguard zombies classic style of gameplay has also returned, where we are not going through portals again and again, completing the same tasks each play through, which drove a lot of people crazy in the previous maps. Now we are back to good old basics in relation to surviving to the highest round possible, however, we can still EXFIL when we need to on this map to reward us for our progress each time.

The famous FLOGGER trap is also back swinging its thang in the middle of the map, launching zombies on an unexpected flight, as well as the nice little touch of the mini Tesla Coil Traps covering most of the doorways and entrances to some of the 4 key areas within the map.

Here is a brief overview of the 2 floors of the MAIN SPAWN AREA building, which is at the centre of this map. This central building acts like a hub, linking to all other areas of the map, apart from the DIG SITE which needs to be accessed from the COMM ROOM EXTERIOR or the STORAGE HUT EXTERIOR areas.

Points of Interest on Main Spawn Top Floor:
  • Zipline - needs switched on outside the Doctor's Quarters External area first then it will link to this area
  • Ammo Crate
  • Mystery Box Spawn Location
  • Perk Fountain
  • 4 Wall buy weapons which are: the MK2 Frag Grenade Costing 250, the ITRA Burst costing 1000, SVT-40 costing 200 and the G43 costing 600
  • Multiple zombie spawn locations
  • Intel Pickup
  • Access to FLOGGER YARD, FOYER, EXCAVATION LOOKOUT and DOCTOR'S QUARTERS EXTERIOR areas
  • Consists of the areas Balcony Stairs, Infirmary and Storage vault
  • 5 LANTERN LOCATIONS - this is used to spawn in the RAMPAGE INDUCER. The 5 lanterns need shot in a specific order for this to work and make the RAMPAGE INDUCER STONE appear. The RAMPAGE INDUCER makes the zombies movement speed increase as well as their spawn rate, only up until round 55......if you survive that long. This will let you get through the rounds a lot quicker but it means it is also a lot harder too. Only skilled zombie slayers should try this.....what am I saying? Give it a go, live a little!

Points of Interest on Main Spawn Ground Floor:
  • Multiple Intel Pickups
  • Map layout of the level
  • Cypher Wheel Part pickup location
  • Exfil extraction point
  • Red Orb possible spawn location - can only be seen after drinking blood from the EMPTY FOUNTAIN near the FLOGGER machine. Once of course it has been filled up with ZOMBIE BLOOD and kills from the FLOGGER TRAP being activated.
  • Empty Perk Fountain - this will later be filled with blood from zombies that you kill with the FLOGGER trap after you speak to a BLUE ORB, after completing the ceremony for the STONE MONOLITH. Drinking the blood gives you a kind of zombie vision that will allow you to track down 2 RED ORBS that are around the map that can only be seen in this mode. If the zombie vision runs out and the blood has run dry for this fountain, simply reactivating the flogger and getting zombie kills with it will fill it back up again.




  • Ammo box
  • Flogger trap costs 750 to use
  • Multiple wall gun buys including: Stun Mine, M1 Garand costs 600 and the M1928 costs 1200
  • This comprises of the areas Excavation Room, War Room, Mess Hall, Foyer, Dormitory and the Flogger Courtyard
  • It has access to the areas COMM ROOM EXTERIOR, FISHING HUT EXTERIOR, DOCTOR'S QUARTERS EXTERIOR, STORAGE HUT EXTERIOR and BALCONY STAIRS.
  • Vacuum Tube charge point - when Zaballa spawns in after round 15, we need to use one of her attacks, the trip mines she deploys and then they explode, to charge this mechanical wonder of a device. It needs hit 3 times with this attack of hers to fully charge it and you will see purple electricity electrify the object each time you successfully charge it. Do it a total of 3 times and this will charge the VACUUM TUBE for you. This is part of building the WUNDERWAFFE DG-2 wonder weapon.
