What's the time Mr Wolf
The first place we can get our 3 DIGIT CODE from, is in the area called the INTERROGATION ROOMS. Just to the right of where the QUICK REVIVE PERK MACHINE is located, there is a CAGED AREA.
If you look through the gaps in the cage, or the broken part of the cage, you will see a CLOCK on the wall which is of course, telling us a time.
We can get out first part of the 3 digit code from this clock. All you have to do is is take the value from the HOUR hand. So in this example shown in the screenshots, it was at the time 4:20. This means that the first part of our code is 4, so definitely take a note of that.
Things are going to get messy
Next we need to head over to the MESS HALL area and we need to check one of the NOTICE BOARDS on the wall, in order to look for a lucky PLAYING CARD pinned to it.
It is located in the corner where all the cooking equipment is, to the left of the ARSENAL MACHINE, just by the blue doors.
Simply see what number is on the card, it doesn't matter what suit it is, just the number is the important part here. Take a note of it and we can move onto finding the final third piece of the code.
Safety First
Our third and final code we need to find is in the ENGINEERING area of the map. It is on a POSTER which has the message "SAFETY FIRST - Days Since Last Injury" and it will also give a number.
This is your last number you need for the code which changes every play through as you have probably guessed.
In this instance the whole code would be 423. We will use this on a keypad in the BIO LAB area in the next step.
Biologically Speaking....your correct!
Now we have the 3 digit code we require, we need to head over to the BIO LAB area and interact with the large CONTAINER in the middle of the lab. When you interact with it, a character will come to life called NATHAN who is trapped inside this CONTAINER.
Interact with him and he will go through some dialogue, as well as some from PECK. Interacting with it again will make the KEYPAD entry appear for you to put in the code you have just discovered from the last step of the Easter egg.
Once the code has been input correctly, you will see that the keypad now says UNLOCKED and is highlighted in green.
Once input you will hear some speaking from STRAUSS who says that to unseal the container, you will need to turn the release handles of this container in unison together to try and get NATHAN out of this container.
If in co-op, everyone will need to take a release valve and then time it exactly with each other to interact with the valves and turn them at exactly the same time.
Once you do this with the valves, it will activate a mini lockdown sequence and the screen will flash white. A powerful AMALGUM will spawn in at this point and you will have to take him down, who actually is in fact......NATHAN himself!
He will chase you around this area of the map and its best to keep moving on the outside of the map as much as you can. It will spawn in the usual lots of zombies as well, so if your team mates and yourself is well coordinated, if you all move round the map in unison together, you can train all the zombies and NATHAN, to follow a single path that will allow you to get some distance on him now and again while taking out zombies and dealing damage on him a little bit more safely.
Once you destroy NATHAN, it will activate a mini cut scene and this will mark the the Easter egg is at the half way point.
No cannonballing in the swimming pool....okay why not? Go nuts!
Once the cutscene from the previous step has ended, you will then dive into the water at the bottom of the BIO LAB area.....I hope the pool guy has cleaned this water recently.....four your sake.....where you will then look around the bottom of this pool for a KEY CARD.
Once you have found this KEY CARD and picked it up, you will then be heading over to where the SHIPWRECK is located on this map.
To get here, you will need to summon a TACTICAL RAFT and head over to below the SHIPWRECK, then climb up a ladder which will allow you access a lower section of the WORKSHOP area via a HATCH that will be open to allow you access.
When inside the WORKSHOP lower level, you will notice there are 2 NODE CONNECTORS sitting on a work bench that you can pick up. Once you pick them up however, it will activate a mini lock down where zombies will start pouring into the room from the 4 windows located in this room. This will also seal the hatch you entered by, meaning you cannot escape until this lockdown is completed. It is tight quarters so be careful in here and keep alert from all angles, especially if playing in solo mode.
Once you complete the mini lockdown by killing the waves of zombies, it will then reopen the hatch and allow you to get back onboard the boat, as well as rewarding you with a MAX AMMO for your troubles.
I am not very good at plumbing, but how hard can connecting 2 pipes be?
Now we are already back in our boat with the 2 NODE CONNECTORS, we need to look around the map in 2 of 3 possible locations, where there is a PIPE that has missing parts to it.
We will use both of the NODE CONNECTORS to repair the gaps in the missing 2 pipes. These missing pieces of pipe can be found in the following locations around the map:
- CRAB ISLAND - this is quite close to the SHIPWRECK you came away from in the previous step, so it is probably best to check this first before heading to any of the other areas, as it might just save you another unnecessary trip. It is just on the very edge of the island at the following location on the map screenshot below:
- UNDERNEATH THE SEA TOWER - just beside the DOCKS area you can go underneath the SEA TOWER and its 4 legs. On one of the outer legs nearest the sea, you will notice there is another pipe location where the pipe could be missing, as shown in the screenshots below it was on this playthrough:
- SEA CAVES - There is a long running pipeline going through these caves and it may also be missing a section in the following location where the NODE CONNECTOR may also need placed in some playthroughs, shown below:
You will know you have done this successfully when you hear SAM's dialogue mentioning that "This is a classified network. Identify yourself."
Once her dialogue has been completed, head back to the GUARD STATION area in the main spawn.
I think your cyber security needs upgraded
Now we are at the GUARD STATION, go up to where PECK is and the metal drawer used to exchange items. Now there should be a gold item to pick up, which is the HACKING DEVICE.
This HACKING DEVICE will be used to hack 3 BUOYS around the map which you will need to find, which contain a SATELLITE dish on top of them. This is part of a TRIANGULATION PROCESS that must be completed within 2 minutes of hacking the first BUOY.
SATELLITE BUOY LOCATION 1
If you start from the DOCS and board another TACTICAL RAFT, go forward and when the island create a fork into 2, take the path on the left and follow it on through. Carry on past CRAB ISLAND to the very back of the map and you will notice a BUOY flashing YELLOW.
When you get near the BUOY, simply hold the interact button and your character will pull out the HACKING DEVICE and start hacking the signal from the dish on top of the BUOY.
Once it has been completed, the BUOY will flash GREEN and this will start the 2 minute timer for you to find the other 2 BUOYS and repeat the process before the timer runs out.
SATELLITE BUOY LOCATION 2
From the 1st location if you head WEST from buoy position 1, and go back past CRAB ISLAND and towards the SHIPWRECK, keep on going and you will eventfully on that path come across the second SATELLITE BUOY which is flashing YELLOW, just in front of the BOW of the SHIPWRECK itself.
Repeat same steps as before and go up to the BUOY and HACK the signal, turn the light to GREEN and we will then be good to head to the final BUOY location.
SATELLITE BUOY LOCATION 3
From the SHIPWRECK BUOY location, we then need to head straight NORTH direction, then turn to NORTH EAST direction and go past the ISLAND WHICH HAS THE ARSENAL MACHINE randomly sitting on it. Just out slightly from this small piece of land is the 3rd and final SATELLITE BUOY.
Interact with it again and it will trigger a white flash on the screen letting you know it has successfully been completed.
Self destruct sequence initiated......your a trained bomb disposal expert.....right?
We next need to head back to the BIO LAB are where we will be triggering a fake SELF DESTRUCT sequence.....just for some giggles......as you do.
We need to head to the lower part of the BIO LAB, and on the lower left hand side of where there are stairs leading up to the upper level, there is a door marked with the number 02 on it.
When this door opens there will be a MACHINE that you need to interact with. It will then have a device that needs to be DEFUSED as it is a type of DETONATOR. Defuse it, then we will go to the opposite side of the lower part of the BIO LAB area and in the same section on the opposite side, there is another door which has opened.
Defuse this second DETONATOR and then we can move onto the final DETONATOR which is located on the SECOND FLOOR of the BIO LAB area, directly above the MELEE MACCHIATO perk machine.
When all 3 of these DETONATORS has been DEFUSED, we will see a white flash on the screen letting us know it has been completed.
Once this has happened, it means we can now activate the main boss fight for this map at any time.
If you fail to defuse all the 3 DETONATORS within the 5 minute time frame, the facility will be destroyed and it is an instant game over for you. There is no second chances at this part. Good luck.
Bossy Boots
Now that we have completed all the previous tasks, we are now ready to activate the boss fight. Make sure every weapon is upgraded, armour is at the highest level and equipped, all Gobblegums that can help ready to go as well as all lethal and tactical equipment and perks at the ready.
To activate the boss fight simply go to the door located here in the BIO LAB area that is partially open. If playing on SOLO you just need to activate it, if playing on CO-OP, all 4 people need to vote to activate the final boss fight and initiate it.
Once activated you will see a very angry looking KRAKEN, also know as PATIENT 13.
This boss fight comes in 3 stages. In each stage, the boss will disappear after a certain amount of damage has been done to him, then reappear again in different areas, as well as blocking off access to parts of the peer with his tentacles at points.
Some things to watch out for is the boss does have a little bit.....okay a lot of help around the sides of this area, in the form of tentacles that will be firing projectiles at you the whole time.
Also the boss has a SLAM ATTACK and SWIPE ATTACK which will down players instantly, so you will need to keep a close eye on this when running around the peer or when you are in the water. Also there is lots of zombies and at certain stages ELITE ZOMBIES will spawn in like AMALGUMS on the 2nd or 3rd stages so be warned.
The boss also is not a person who likes to remain still. He will move from the middle of the area, to the left hand side, the right hand side, to the front of the pier and also into the inner middle part so try to keep an eye on him when you can in case you inadvertently run into a SLAM ATTACK out of the blue.
If you go into the water and the boss is in the MIDDLE SECTION of the PIER, you might instantly get downed being so close to him so remember to keep your distance from the boss at times or you are going to have a really bad day.
This is a very simple boss fight and at each stage all you have to do is shoot the CRITICAL RED SPOTS / SPORES on the bosses various body parts at each stage, which changes location 3 times.
Stage 1
For this stage, as mentioned before, all of that stuff will happen, the moving of the boss itself to different areas of the area, tentacles galore on the sides shooting at you. The main part about this stage is that the RED CRITICAL SPORE will be on the bosses neck / shoulder area.
Simply deal as much damage as you can as you run around the pier area training the zombies, leading them in one direction, but all the time focussing on dealing as much damage to the bosses weak spot as possible, while periodically taking out the tentacles shooting at you from around the map when needed.
When enough damage has been dealt, the boss will then disappear and you will have to kill the remaining tentacles in this phase in order for him to reappear again.
Stage 2
When the boss respawns, the new hit spot for his critical point to deal damage to him is inside his MOUTH. The difference also in this stage is that the TENTACLES will become more frequent and become a bit more crazy with their intensity in their firing of projectiles.
There will also be some ELITE zombies spawning in such as MANGLERS to get rid of which can be a bit tough if lots of normal zombies are in front of him, as they absorb most of the bullets and damage on the narrow pier areas. Some of the MANGLERS swipe attacks, they will try to swipe you into the water below and if this happens, you can get instantly downed if the main boss is in the middle square part of the area.
During these boss phases, if you have a CHOPPER GUNNER handy in your inventory or going spare, you can deal a tonne of damage to the boss from the relative safety of the chopper above.
Once enough damage has been done to the MOUTH weak spot, the weak points will then change to the TENTACLE SPOTS / ELBOW OF THE TENTACLES. These will have a weak spot on either TENTACLE for you to shoot at. Simply deal out the damage again so that the boss disappears again and start taking out the TENTACLES in the current wave again till there are no more.
During the clearing up of the TENTACLES for phase 2, you may get an AMALGUM also spawning in trying to halt you in your tracks so be careful.
Stage 3
In this last stage, the weak point for the boss has changed to his EYES. All you have to do is keep shooting at his eyes as much as you can, dealing as much damage as possible each time.
It will also used its tentacles to block off either side of the pier. The only way to get from one side to another is to jump into the water and use the ladders on the other side of where the tentacle is located to get back up again.
It will also have anew WHITE MECHANIC attack that if you get caught in it, will instantly go down. The best thing is to take cover when fighting him on this final stage, behind the 2 larger boxes in the central main area of the PIER area.
Once you have shot him enough times, a portal will appear above his head and he will explode into a large pile of guts and tentacley.....pieces.
That will then activate the final cut scene to play.
Once the cutscene is completed, players can choose to end the game or play on. If they play on they will be rewarded with tons of zombie points, Ray Guns, FLAWLESS PACK A PUNCH CRYSTALS and much more.
You will also have unlocked the special operator skin for MAYA for completing the TEMRINUS map. You will also get a special TERMINUS CALLING CARD as well as a bonus for this Easter egg completion.
