Hi guys,
there is a secret CURSED TALISMAN hiding on Treasure Island within the Terminus Zombies map in Call Of Duty Black Ops 6. Whoops! Did I say Treasure Island? I meant CRAB ISLAND on this map.
I got confused and called it the other name, as there is indeed some buried treasure beneath the sands on this tiny island out in the ocean.
This CURSED TALISMAN will allow you to:
- Earn 30% more points for the rest of the game from when you pick it up
- Having extra health
- However as it is cursed, anytime a zombie hits you when you have it, you will lose 1500 points for each hit received....harsh I know but curses usually are. You will however make a tonne of money at the same time if not getting hit and taking down large amount sof zombies at a time so it evens itself out.
Fancy a Melee Macchiato Coffee?
Before we embark on our treasure hunt quest......hopefully to become rich at the end of it......we need to have MELEE MACCHIATO equipped. You can get this from any of the FREE RANDOM PERK side Easter eggs by chance or simply buy it from the perk machine itself in the BIO LAB area.
Once you have this equipped, make you way over to the SEA CAVES area near where the SPEED COLA PERK MACHNE is located.
Locate the section of the wall in the SEA CAVES near the SPEED COLA PERK MACHINE that looks like spikes coming up from the ground and from the ceiling interlocking with each other. These are what's known as Stalactites and Stalagmites....see who said gaming cannot teach people new things?
You will notice behind these interlocking rock spikes forming the wall, that there is a void behind it, which is actually a hidden smaller cave.
With Melee Macchiato equipped, punch these ROCK SPIKES and they will collapse to reveal a hidden space. Here you will find a body which belonged to CAPTAIN GREGG.....no he is not the owner of a popular bakery chain here in the UK if that's what your thinking.....I know I thought about sausage rolls when he started talking to me.
With CAPTAIN GREGG, there will also be a TREASURE BOX and a TREASUE MAP within this room. CAPTAIN GREGG will mention that this is his quarters and you are not allowed in until he gets what it rightfully his, returned to him....which is his treasure!
"Watch" yourself on the high seas!
After knocking down the wall, look down your gun sights and zoom into the TREASURE MAP to the right of CAPTAIN GREGG. It will have a RED MARKER on it showing the position of a WATCH item that has been lost at sea. It changes and is totally random the location on each playthrough. In the below example it was on CASTLE ROCK ISLAND.
Simply get into a TACTICAL RAFT and head over to the location shown on the map, then circle around the outer perimeter of the island until you see something YELLOW glowing beneath the waves.
Dive down to retrieve this item and you will find it is Captain Greggs WATCH. Take it back to him in the SEA CAVES and interact with CAPTAIN GREGG where he will tell you that it belongs to CAPTAIN THOMAS GREGG esquire.
Throw me a bone here!
After CAPTAIN GREGG has given his dialogue for returning his WATCH, check the TREASURE MAP beside him again to see that there is now 3 RED MARKS on the map.
These 3 RED MARKS now correspond to the people who stole coins from him and his treasure. He will have mentioned he wants you to burn what is left of the ones who stole from him and return the coins that they have stolen.
When you travel to each of these map locations, you will be looking for a SKELETON. All we have to do is locate these SKELETONS, burn the BONES with a MOLOTOV, it will then spawn in an ELITE ZOMBIE for each, that will need to be taken care of.
Temple Island Skeleton Location
This skeleton is found laying on the steps of the destroyed shack that is falling apart on this small island. Simply fire the MOLOTOV cocktail at the bones of the SKELETON when you find it and it will burst into flames. This will then spawn in an ELITE MANGLER ZOMBIE which is called KRIXBIA.
All you have to do is kill the ELITE MANGLER and pick up the CURSED COIN that it drops. Once you pick up this coin, your vision will turn into a SMOKEY BLUE colour.
Take this CURSED COIN back to the SEA CAVES and return it to CAPTAIN GREGG. He will thank you for it and will await the delivery of his other 2 coins.
Castle Rock Island Skeleton Location
Next if you head over to CASTLE ROCK ISLAND in your TACTICAL RAFT, you will find this next SKELETON laying in the sand to the right hand side of the BLUE GENERATOR located on this island, beside where the LANTERN is lit on the beach, shown below:
Simply repeat the same process as before, an ELITE ZOMBIE will spawn in, kill it, pick up the CURSED COIN and return it back to the SEA CAVES area and CAPTAIN GREGG.
Shipwreck Skeleton Location
If you head over to the SHIPWRECK area, in front of the SUPERSTRUCTURE of this ship, there is a RED SHIPPING CONTAINER and a MAST. Look at the bottom of the MAST and you will see a SKELETON resting against it.
This is where you need to use the MOLOTOV and set this SKELETON on fire, in order to make the last ELITE MANGLER appear who is called THRUNKUS.
Destroy KRUNKUS and pickup the last CURSED COIN and head back to give it to CAPTAIN GREGG in the SEA CAVES and this time, you will be awarded with 3 RANDOM LEGENDARY WEAPONS.....not too shabby if I don't say so myself!
That however, is not all folks! There is one more TREASURE hidden in the map which is related to doing this side Easter egg. It is getting the CURSED TALISMAN in your possession to reap the benefits it offers, as mentioned at the start of this post.
Oh there is just......one....more.....thing
Now we have one last piece of treasure to find, so lets head over to CRAB ISLAND first. When you get here, simply stay on the island for 3 or 4 rounds killing zombies and progressing through the rounds.
When you get about 3 or 4 rounds completed, go round to the side of the island that is between the WALL GUN BUY and the AMMO REFILL BOX on this island. In the middle between these two locations, you will notice on the ground there will be to the left of the rocks in the middle a GOLDEN CHEST appears.
Open it and you will receive the CURSED TALISMAN.....enjoy!
