Secrets: Easter Egg Song -- Mister Peeks Dance Competition --
Hi guys,
here is how to activate the dancing competition Easter egg within the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 map Rex Infernus.
This is a fun little way to get your groove on, but also get rewarded in the process, depending on how good of a dancer you are.
It is regarded as a successor to the coffin dance in previous zombies map Die Maschine but has a nice little button pattern you need to follow on screen to make your character dance and bust a move!
It is a bit of fun, which can give some really good rewards....so let's see how we can activate it.
A Cassette Tape, what's that?
A lot of young people these days do not know what a CASETTE TAPE is, but when they eventually do see one, it all makes sense......right? In Rex Infernus we will be looking for a CASSETTE TAPE which we will be pulling out of a random dig site around the map.
In order to do this, along with a lot of the other Easter eggs in this map, you will have to have opened up Pack A Punch and the whole map. The reason for this is because in this instance, you need to have the GRAPPLING GUN or the VOID CLAW GRAPPLE.
Once we have one of these two items, we can search for the missing cassette tape.
We want to be searching around the map for PILES OF BONES in the ground that are slightly sticking up.
When we see a pile, use the GRAPPLE function of the grapple gun or the void claw and it will pull items out of the piles.
These piles appear randomly around the map and they usually spawn in the OUTER ISLANDS areas of the map, rarely do they appear in the centre where the PACK A PUNCH area is located.
Keep finding the piles of bones and grappling the items out of them until a CASSETTE TAPE comes flying out of the pile. You will notice it is highlighted in YELLOW in its outline, but there is no prompt mentioning you can pick it up.
Simply hold the interact button over it and you will pick it up.
Once you find it, you then want to take it over to the are called ARANEA INSULA.
You will then look for the BROKEN FIREPLACE shown in the images below, and inside this crumbling fireplace, there will be an OLD FASHIONED TAPE RECORDER, which we can insert the CASSETTE into.
Hold the interact button to put the tape inside, once inserted, there will be a single blink of a RED LIGHT and the screen will go black. You will now have entered the dancing arena where legends are brown on the dancefloor.
When you enter here, there will be a timer on the left hand side of the screen counting down and prompts will appear for you to hit certain button combinations to perform the dance moves.
All you have to do is try your best to hit all the button sequences in the correct order, as quickly as you can.
Obviously the more you hit correctly and complete in the fastest time, will give you greater rewards when you come to the end of this side Easter egg.
Once it ends, you will be taken back to the main map and you will be given a reward by MISTER PEEKS in the form of a trophy. Looks through the rewards to see how well you done, the better the rewards the better you have done this challenge.
You will get rewards like Pack A Punch Crystals, Mystery Perks, Aether Tools, Self Revive Kits and possibly if your very lucky, a Wonder Weapon if you do it on a very high round.
