Secrets: Easter Egg Song -- Mister Peeks Dance Competition -- Space Helmet Grapple Upgrade -- Wardens Cowboy Hat --
Hi guys,
Looking for a way to tell those creepy eight-legged freaks on Rex Infernus to back off? Well, we’ve got just the thing for you.
Today, we’re showing you how to get the Warden’s Hat in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 map Rex Infernus and trust me, you’re going to want this bad boy.
Why? Because once you’ve got it equipped, those nasty SPIDER WEBS can’t slow you down anymore!
Let's be honest, nobody likes getting caught in those disgusting spider webs, especially when you're trying to survive a high-round run and everything on the map is already trying to turn you into zombie chow.
And if you happen to have a bit of a spider phobia... well, why not fight fear with fashion?
Throw on that cowboy hat, stroll up to those eight-legged nightmares and hit them with a big ol' “HOWDY, PARTNAAAA!”
Suddenly, those creepy crawlers aren't quite so scary anymore and best of all, their webs won't be able to mess with you.
So, saddle up, Gunslinger. Let's find out exactly how to get the COWBOY HAT in Rex Infernus!
The Spider That Becomes a Horsey
First things first, there’s one important requirement you need to take care of before we can kick off this Easter egg.
You'll need to have opened the Pack-a-Punch machine and activated it.
Once Pack-a-Punch is up and running, you're ready for the next step.
Now comes the waiting game...
You need an ELITE WEB MOTHER SPIDER to spawn into the map. These nasty elite enemies can begin appearing from Round 16 onwards, so make sure you're prepared for the fight.
Keep surviving, keep your eyes peeled, and wait for that giant eight-legged menace to show up.
Once it does, that's when the real fun begins.
When the ELITE WEB MOTHER spiders spawns in, we need to lure her down to where the PACK A PUNCH MACHINE is located in the NEXUS FORGE area of the map.
We then need to use the GRAPPLE GUN to GRAPPLE onto the web mother spider and rider on her back, almost as if she was a horse.....a......spider horse.....if you will.
While on her back, we need to get as many kills inside the yellow circle near the Pack A Punch machine as we can, before we get thrown off her back.
We need to get around 40 to 50 zombies kills, which I know is a lot and a big ask, but it is totally doable.
Obviously, the higher the round you do this in, the more difficult it will be, so the sooner you do this the better it is in order to obtain the WARDENS HAT.
When you get enough kills while riding the web mother spider, the spider will kick you off eventually and it will run and jump into the core of the pack a punch machine.
When she does this, the WARDENS HAT will fly out of the code and land on the ground for you to pick up.
The WARDENS HAT comes with a handy defensive perk: web immunity. Once equipped, the slowing effect caused by webs from enemies such as Deathspinners and Web Mothers won’t affect you. That means you can keep sprinting and moving normally instead of getting bogged down when the map starts throwing webs at you.
This becomes especially useful during higher rounds, where getting slowed at the wrong moment can quickly turn into a one-way trip to the Pack-a-Punch machine.
There is one important catch, though. The Warden’s Hat doesn’t make you immune to web damage. You’ll still take damage if you’re caught in the web attack, so don’t treat the hat as a free pass to stand around in danger.
Think of it as a movement upgrade rather than full protection: the webs can still hurt you, but they can’t slow you down.
The hat will also appear on a PLINTH that you can come and collect near here, if you decide to swap it out for another hat or helmet within this map. This means you can return anytime to pick it up again and use it as needed.
Thanks for reading as always guys.
Henry
