Rex Infernus Space Helmet Grapple Upgrade - Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies

Hi guys,

here is get the upgraded grapple within the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 map Rex Infernus and how it relates to the space helmet.

The space helmet gives you extended time with your grapple ability and comes in particularly useful when you come to do the end boss fight, so this one is definitely worth considering to make that final battle much much easier.

Another cool effect of wearing the space helmet in your game is that it removes any fall damage taken. As we know in Rex Infernus, you can get up to quite a height in some areas and the fall on the way back down is not so pleasant sometimes, for your health.

So if I have sold it to you, lets find out how we can get this amazing helmet and we can pretend to be an astronaut!

In order to get this helmet, what we want to do is when we spawn into the game, in the HER HOUSE area of the map, we will want to pick up the MISTER BEEKS BUNNY HEAD that is sitting on top of a chest of drawers in the upstairs of the house, to the right hand side of the bed in the bedroom.

This is the bedroom which has the GOBBLEGUM MACHINE outside and in the room itself there is the WALL GUN BUY and the GRAMMOPHONE which plays the NUEK TOWN hidden Easter egg tune.

Interact with the head and it will pick it up with a pink puff of smoke indicating you are now in possession of it.

If you leave the HER HOUSE area and forget to pick up this bunny head, it will be some time before you are able to get back into the house, so it is best doing this straight away before you leave and pick it up.

Grappling with reality

Now we need to make sure we have opened up all of the map, got ourselves a grappling gun  and activated PACK A PUNCH in this map, as we will be heading to different areas of the map to pickup different parts of the MISTER PEEKS BUNNY with the grappling gun, in order to get the space helmet.

Let's put the grapple to good use and find out where these additional parts of Mister Peeks are located, which can be collected in any order you see fit.

Mister Peeks Part Location 1 - Nexus Forge / Caltheris Passage

This is hard to see this part, however if you head from the Nexus Forge area of the map to where it turns into Caltheris Passage, in front of the glowing blue temple like structure.

If you look 90 degrees to the right while standing in front of this glowing blue temple, you will notice a partially destroyed STONE WALL and COLUMN, which is out of bounds.

There is a zombie spawn on this stone wall also, but if we look on past the zombie spawn there is a raised stone wall which has a piece of Mister Peeks on it, shown in the image below.

Equip the grapple gun and point the target towards the top of the stone wall and the target will change to have another smaller, inner target within it, letting you know you have locked onto the missing piece.

Retrieve it with the grapple and we can move onto the next part.

Mister Peeks Part Location 2 - Ruinas Insula

This piece is also an out of bounds pickup which can be hard to see and is in the RUINAS INSULA area of the map. 

It is on the side of the cliff face that is not far from the PHD FLOPPER PERK MACHINE, and will require you to creek your neck down slightly and look toward the sandy coloured temple in the middle of this area while you are in Ruinas Insula, as shown in the images below.

Mister Peeks Part Location 3 - Aranea Insula

This is near where the WIDOW'S WINE MACHINE is located and it accessed by jumping onto a floating stone ledge just off to the side of the map and looking straight down onto another small cliff face and ledge where there is another part of Mister Peeks sitting.

Using the grapple gun, grab this piece shown in the images above and we can move onto the next one.

Mister Peeks Part Location 4 - Spira Insula

This next location is just above the JUGGERNOG PERK MACHINE and can be accessed from the SPIRA INSULA area of the map. 

In this area there is a floating stone platform up in the centre of the sky if you grapple up to that first, then turn towards the direction of the JUGGERNOG PERK MACHINE and up above on top of one of the stone walls is the other part of Mister Peeks, near some stone pillars at the peak of this hill in the distance.

Mister Peeks Part Location 5 - Nexus Forge

This last location is in the NEXUS FORGE area of the map. It is located just behind the GRAPPLE GUN PEDESTAL where it spawns.

If you look behind this pedestal, out into the out of bounds area in the direction of PACK A PUNCH, there is another Mister Peeks part, sitting on the side of the cliff face.

Mister Peeks Grapple Race, ladies and gentlemen.....start your engines!

Now we have all of the pieces of Mister Peeks, we need to head over to where the Caltheris Main Chamber is located. Head to where the MYSTERY BOX SPAWN LOCATION is in this area, and sitting adjacent to it on the corner of a wall, is the MISTER PEEKS DOLL.

Interact with the doll and it will fly up into the air and go forward a slight distance in front of you and it will have a BLUE PORTAL around him.

What we have to do here is use the grapple gun as quickly as we can to pull ourselves towards Mister Peeks and go through the BLUE PORTAL RING that is around him.

You will notice that there is a timer on the left hand side of the screen and this will let us know how long we have to complete this race, which will take us all the way around the map in a large circle and back to where we began.

When we complete the race successfully, we will get rewards based on how long it took us to complete the race. The quicker we do it in, the better the rewards. The higher the round we do it in as well, the better the rewards.

If you are able to complete the race in less than 

So simply follow Mister Peeks around the map and using the terrain and environment to latch onto something with your grapple and pull yourself towards the portal to push him onto the next location and so on and so forth, until we reach the end.

Don't worry if your unable to complete the race in time, we can retry it once per round until we do, so no need to worry there. The grapple will be available to you during the race for a full minute.

The portals will always appear in the same place during the race and Mister Peeks will also follow the same route, so memorising this can help you a lot. You will go all around the map, finally returning to the NYXARA ENTRANCE where Mister Peeks will reward you depending on how good your time was.

For these rewards you can get:

• If take over 60 seconds to complete the race: Mystery Perk, Essence and Salvage Rewards

• If completed under a minute, you can have the possibility of obtaining a RAY GUN wonder weapon, as well as other perks and salvage, such as PACK A PUNCH CRYSTALS. This depends on how high the round is currently. The higher the round, the better chance you have of possibly getting the ray gun. If you do this in less than a minute you should get rewarded with the SPACE HELMET as well

If in your game you swap the SPACE HELMET for another one of the helmets in the game, it will appear on a PEDESTAL in the CALTHERIS MAIN CHAMBER area, facing where the MISTER PEEKS DOLL was that activated the race.

This means you can pick it up again anytime it is needed.
