Easter Egg Guide: Part 1 -- Part 2 -- Part 3 -- Part 4 --
Hi Guys,
The Reckoning jump scare is a creepy little Easter Egg hidden in the T1 Executive Suites area in Call Of Duty Black Ops 6.
To trigger it, head over to the anti-gravity personnel launcher and to the left hand side of it, you will notice part of the fence is broken. This will be used as our sightline to find a PICNIC BLANKET we will need to stare at in the distance.
From there, aim toward the HILLS just left of Tower 2.
If you look closely, you’ll spot a picnic blanket on the grass at the top of the hill, which is the same one shown in the Liberty Falls intro cutscene where Richtofen dreams of his wife and child.
Simply equip a sniper rifle, zoom in on the blanket, and hold steady for a few seconds.
After 4 or 5 seconds, once you scope out, you’ll be hit with a sudden jump scare of a disfigured version of Richtofen’s son, Samuel. Enjoy.....or scream....whichever you prefer....it might also cause the rest of your team mates to let out a high pitched scream.
Keep in mind, this chilling Easter Egg only works once per match, so make it count!
The jump scare is of course of Richtofen's son from the LIBERTY FALLS INTRO CUT SCENE.
Jump Scare Background
Liberty Falls kicks off with one of the darkest intros in Zombies history. The cutscene shows Richtofen finally at peace, sharing a sunny picnic with his wife and young son, Samuel. For a moment, it feels like a glimpse of the life he could have had, calm, happy, and far removed from the nightmare of the undead.
However the scene quickly twists into horror as his family suddenly erupts into flames, leaving Richtofen helpless as they burn away before his eyes.
This vision isn’t real, but it sets the tone for the map: a reminder of Richtofen’s guilt, loss, and the emotional weight he carries into the fight ahead.
Thanks for reading as always guys.
Henry
