LETS GO TO PART 1 OF THE EASTER EGG GUIDE
Punching Out Time, Lets Grab A Coffee, see...I'm Using My Brain
Now we need to head over to the T1 QUANTUM COMPUTING CORE area and purchase the MELEE MACCHIATO from the perk machine for a cost of 2500 credits.
Then in the same area, there will be a machine facing the MELEE MACCHIATO machine on the PILLAR in front of it. Simply punch the machine with the MELEE MACCHIATO equipped and it will reveal a BLUE BRAIN inside one of the machines.
Pick up this brain and you will notice that your character is carrying it in their left hand.
We are going to move this BLUE BRAIN to a new home, somewhere more comfier and with better....weather? Actually no we are just going to stuff it into another machine somewhere, but don't tell him that.
Take the BLUE BRAIN over to where the TELEPORTATION LAB is located and you will find a machine similar to the one you picked it up from in QUANTUM COMPUTING, near the opposite side of the wall facing the AMMO BOX in this area.
When you find the machine shown, hold the use button to place the brain into this new machine.
Now we can move onto the next step.
I am perplexed! Actually I am.....Gorgofexed!
Now in this next step we are going to obtain the GORGOFEX WONDER WEAPON. We can obtain it by pure chance as always if your a gambling person, however this is a guaranteed way to get it every time.
Head over to the T1 MUTANT RESEARCH LAB area and go to the area where the DEADSHOT DAIQUIRI PERK MACHINE is located. You will notice directly to the left of this perk, there is a set of screens and equipment.
Once of the screens will have STATIC displaying on it about 90% of the time. Keep staring at this screen and it will eventually, and very briefly, flash up a word in green. Take a note of what this word is when it appears.
If you miss it, just keep staring at it for another 4 or 5 seconds and it will eventually come back again.
In this example, the word that flashed up is NETTLESOME. This will of course change every play through so this is just an example as always. Take a note of this then lets move onto the next STATIC SCREEN we will also need to find in order to get the word associated with it's screen.
Now head over to the T1 MUTANT RESEARCH TEST AREA of the map where Richtofen's wife and son are in the giant stasis tube.
Behind then there will be a row of consoles again facing the MARINE SP SHOTGUN WALL BUY, and one will have the same STATIC SCREEN as the previous screen we saw. Stare at it for a few seconds and it will reveal another word.
In this case the word was DECEIT.
Now what we do is take the first letter of both these words which is D and N.
With these initials we can make then 2 combinations from these letters.
This can be:
Now, armed with these 2 letters.....I feel as powerful now as....the alphabet.....we head over to the PERIODIC TABLE that is on the wall in the same room as Richtofen's wife and child. It is located in the corner to the left of the STATIC SCREEN in this area.
Look for an element that matches DN.....in this example, there is not one. So we look for an element that matches ND. This matches the element NEODYMIUM which has the ATOMIC NUMBER 60.
Take note of this number 60 and then head to the stairs that goes up in this area to the door that is marked 01. Up here there is a KEYPAD that we will use the NUMBER 60 on in order to open the door. The funny thing here is that the CODE needs to 3 digits long, but as we only have 2, we add a zero to the start of the code to fill it out.
So the code in this instance is 060. It changes every playthrough however.
Once the code is input correctly, the door will open and we will be in the T1 BIOWEAPONS LAB area.
Clear the vermin outta here....I In-Cist!
When you enter this area, there is a machine in here with tubes going up to the ceiling which contains a CIST enclosed in a glass container. What we need to do here is damage VERMIN , that spawn into this area and from dead zombies, but not kill them.
We lead these damaged vermin in front of the CIST in the glass container and you will notice that the VERMIN will float up into the air and then explode with a yellow puff of smoke.
We need to do this with SEVERAL VERMIN the same process. Once we get a few in there, you will then notice this container will turn into a SOUL BOX and collect the souls of zombies with the purple energy going into it also.
Once enough zombie souls have gone into it, you will be able to interact with the CIST and then pick it back up again.
Now we can move onto the next step which takes us over to the T1 QUANTUM COMPUTING LAB area. Head over to that area and we will do some gardening work.
There is not Mush-room in this place anymore! Complain Mush?
Now we have headed over to the T1 QUANTUM COMPUTING LAB area, we are looking for 3 MUSHROOM / PLANTS in this area. When we find each plant, we will pull out the CIST in our left hand and it will start to drain the AETHERIC FLORAL HEALTH from each of the plants.
This only happens while within a certain radius of the plants and the plants can be drained of their energy in any order. Watch out though as you try to drain the floral health from it, it will be spewing out yellow spits of energy that splat on the ground to try and put you off.
Here are the 3 PLANT LOCATIONS in this area:
- Just at the AETHER ELEVATOR that leads down to the PROJECT JANUS RECEPTION area, there is a plant here that needs its floral health drained using the CIST:
- Second location is just in the next room in this area where the WALL GUN BUY for the ASG-89 is located. It is in the centre of the room where there is some control panels:
- Last plant is just outside in the corner of this area, beside where the ANTI-GRAV PERSONNEL LAUNCHER is located that takes you to the ANDROID ASSEMBLY:
Once all of the health has been drained from 3 flowers, we will then head over to the DARK ENTITY CONTAINMENT AREA.
Now we have made it to the DARK ENTITY CONTAINMENT AREA, we need to run around the FORSAKEN and dotted around the room will be some computers that have a message on them saying "INITIATE POWER SURGE".
There are 4 COMPUTERS in total displaying this message and we need to activate each of them. Once they are activated, you will notice that there is electricity shooting up to the ceiling from each computer, through a set of wires and into a corner of the FORSAKEN in the centre of this area.
We need to activate these 4 computers fairly quickly within a set time frame in order to do this correctly.
Initiate the POWER SURGE on all 4 COMPUTERS, here are their 4 locations:
One to the right hand side of the AMMO box on this level
One near the GUN WALL BUY for the XM4 Assault Rifle
Just facing COMPUTER 2 location, there is a control panel sticking out into the centre of the room. Another activation screen to initiate power surge is located here:
Set of COMPUTERS that are in front of the STAMIN-UP PERK MACHINE:
This will then make a rumble happen and it will make a large electricity surge go into the FORSAKEN. This will then in turn, spawn in an UBER KLAUS SPECIAL ZOMBIE.
We do not want to kill him, we simply want to SHOOT THE ARMOURED SHOULDER PADS OFF HIM. Once we have his shoulder pads shot off, there is an ELECTRIFIED FLOOR IN FRONT OF THE FORSAKEN.
Lead him onto it where he will be electrocuted. This however, allows the FORSAKEN that is sitting keeping watch on everything that is happening, to enter the UBER KLAUS SPECIAL ZOMBIE and then he of course....if wanting to pick a fight with you.
Now of course we can destroy the UBER KLAUS with the FORSAKEN inside. It is not an easy battle and he is a bit tough, but together we can do this.
Once you have destroyed the UBER KLAUS FORSAKEN ZOMBIE, the ORIGINAL FORSAKEN CORE it will then pop out and also try to kill you. It's like they bought one boss and got another one free at this point.
After you finally kill the original FORSAKEN CORE, it will then drop the GORGOFEX WONDER WEAPON for you to pick up.
Now we can upgrade the GORGOFEX in 2 different ways in this map, however we can only choose one way per play through, meaning if we choose 1, we cannot choose the other in the current playthrough.
We will come back to this part where we need to upgrade the GORGOFEX, but before we get onto that step and decision to make for it, we will need to head back down to the T2 SUB LEVEL 10 area one more time, where the PARTICLE ACCELERATOR is located and where we turned the power on.
Time to Flex those Gorgoflex Muscles
With the BASE GORGOFEX equipped, in the PARTICLE ACCELERATOR room, go to the control panels where you turned on the power previously. To the left of the lever for turning on the power, there is set of screens that says "[Boost] READY".
Hold the USE BUTTON on this set of screens and it will change to IN PROGRESS.
This will then spawn in 4 QUANTUM VERMIN just outside the window in front of you. Simply shoot the 4 QUANTUM VERMIN and this will then activate a SOUL BOX MECHANIC in front of the window.
These QUANTUM VERMIN usually are up high 2 or 3 of them, then a final one usually runs across the bottom floor in the middle of the PARTICLE ACCELERATOR area.
So kill the 4 vermin, then keep shooting zombies and you will notice that their souls are being drawn towards an object at the window to the control room where the POWER SWITCH was located. This is some kind of an ORB.
When no more souls are going into the ORB, it will start glowing a BLUE colour. Simply run up to it and hold the USE BUTTON to pick it up. You will notice the GORGOFEX is now glowing blue also as the orb has attached itself to the end of the gun.
From this point on we cannot shoot the GORGOFEX at all, otherwise we will lose this BLUE ORB that has now become attached to it. If you do lose the BLUE ORB, you will have to wait to the following round and repeat the steps again to get it.
So without firing a shot, let's make our way back to the TELEPORTATION LAB area again.
When we get there, fire a CHARGED SHOT into the DORMANT PORTAL that is not 100% active. This will super charge the portal and give it enough energy to kick start it back up again.
This portal leads us to the FINAL BOSS FIGHT. However we can upgrade the GORGOFEX in 2 different ways as mentioned previously.
