Reckoning Easter Egg Guide Part 4 - Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies

LETS GO TO PART 3 OF THE EASTER EGG GUIDE

Fungal Infection

Now we need to head over to the T1 QUANTUM COMPUTING CORE area of the map and in the room where there is the BLUE BRAIN, AMMO BOX AND WALL GUN BUY, there is up high a small window that you can just about make out.





When you see it, you will need to use a CHARGED GORGOFEX SHOT and shoot into the window. When you do there will be a small explosion as if you destroyed something and an item will fall down with a GREEN STREAK behind it onto the floor.



You can pick this item up and the item is called the FUNGAL HEAD.

Now we will need to search around the map in both towers until we find a section that has a set of SPRINKLERS IN THE CEILING turned on. You can usually find these if listening out for running water in certain areas.

Also another indication that a SPRINKLER LOCATION is in an area is there is a puddle of water in certain section of the rooms. There is no warning sign of slippery surface when wet, so health and safety would go nuts if they saw this in these towers....luckily.....they are all zombified.

Also when the sprinkler is active, you will notice water running down your HUD in little droplets, letting you know you are standing underneath one.....without an umbrella.

Usually if you find a YELLOW MOP BUCKET in an area, it will have a set of SPRINKLERS nearby. This is because this is the bucket we will be using to fill up with water and we will then be dunking our FUNGAL HEAD into the water and lifting it back out again.

Here are some known locations of the SPRINKLERS and the MOP BUCKET which needs to be MELEED underneath the SPRINKLER so that it fills up with water.

SPRINKLER LOCATION 1 - Project Janus Reception Area
In the area where you spawn into the map in front of the metal detectors, there is a mop bucket in the bottom right hand corner of the map. There is also a possible sprinkler that could be turned on here as well.




SPRINKLER LOCATION 2 - Android Assembly Area
In front of the ANTI-GRAV PERSONNEL LAUNCHER there is a SPRINKLER just in front of it. The MOP BUCKET is also located in the corner of this area.




All we have to do when we find a SPRINKLER and a MOP BUCKET is MELEE the YELLOW MOP BUCKET into place so that it's underneath a sprinkler. 

Then it will fill with water. 





Once filled with water, you can now PLACE THE FUNGAL HEAD into the bucket and then lift it out again.

When you pick it up again you will now have an option to DROP THE FUNGAL HEAD if needed. 

Now this becomes a SOUL BOX task where you can hold the head and shoot zombies to charge up the head with zombie souls or you can place it on the ground, then get zombie kills near it. 

Once you kill zombies and you don't see the energy source going towards you, it has had enough souls to eat. There will also be a SHADOW LIKE FIGURE following you with GLOWING EYES.



If it comes in contact with you it will damage you so stay well away from it.

We then need to head back over to the TELEPORTATION LAB area and place the head in the PURPLE TELEPORTER where the MAIN BOSS FIGHT IS LOCATED, by simply interacting with it.





It will now be floating in the portal with a few energy beams making it hover above the ground.

Vacuum Sealed for Freshness
Now the head is in place in the PORTAL in the TELEPORTATION LAB area, we need to head around the map looking for PROJECT JANUS BOXES. 

These boxes are locked up until this point, but once the FUNGAL HEAD is placed in the PORTAL, they now become unlocked. 

We now need to find 4 of these boxes and pick up the VACUUM-SEAL DEVICE that each contains. This will replace your TACTICAL GRENADE you currently have equipped.

PROJECT JANUS BOX LOCATION 1 - Mutant Research Test Area
Just facing the ARSENAL MACHINE in this area, the box is directly in front of it in front of a white board.



PROJECT JANUS BOX LOCATION 2 - Android Assembly Area
In the room where the CONVEYOR BELTS are located at the end of the room in the corner where there is a CONTROL CONSOLE, there is a box located here with a vacuum device.





PROJECT JANUS BOX LOCATION 3 - Quantum Computing Core Area
Just round where the door heads to the outside open top area, there is a box on the corner of the wall where on the other side the CRAFTING TABLE is located. It will of course like the other be highlighted with a WHITE MARKER on top of the box to help find these boxes don't forget.




PROJECT JANUS BOX LOCATION 4 - Dark Entity Containment Area
This is located in the middle floor of this area and is facing the AMMO BOX up against the wall near the computer that is needed to initiate the POWER SURGE to the FORSAKEN in this area.



There are more locations around the map for these boxes, however these are the 4 used in this game and the others when I find them, I will be marking them in my map layouts section for this map.

So all we need to do is:
  • Find a VACUUM SEAL DEVICE box, pick it up. 
  • Look around the map and find a PURPLE GLOWING OBJECT. and throw the device at it.
  • It will then make the object disappear and then you can pick it back up again.
  • Then find another Vacuum Seal Device and repeat until you have 4 of these completed
  • Counter will increase in top right hand corner of screen for each one completed to keep track 


Once we have 4 VACUUM-SEALED DEVICES, we head back over to the TELEPORTATION LAB Area and place them in the MACHINE in front of the TELEPORTER that leads to the MAIN BOSS FIGHT.






You will notice the 4 holes in the machine are empty. Simply hold the interact button down until all 4 holes have a VACUUM SEAL DEVICE placed in them.

This will then activate a mini lockdown in this area, with the screen flashing WHITE. While all types of zombies spawn in this area, killing them non stop is not enough. We will have to turn on 3 RED SWITCHES on the walls of the TELEPORTATION LAB AREA from RED to GREEN.






When you find these switches, simply interact with them and they will pull the SWITCH LEVER down and it will become GREEN.

Before you can do each of the other switches, you will have to wait and survive around 20 seconds in between, before pushing the next one.



Once all 3 have been turned from RED to GREEN, you can then enter the TELEPORTATION PORTAL that leads to the boss fight.

The Lead Up To This Boss Is Uplifting
Once you have emerged from the portal, you will now be in the T3 ARTIFACT AMPLIFICATION CHAMBER. 

When you arrive, simply go up and INTERACT with the SENTINEL ARTIFACT to ATTUNE it.





When you enter here, there is an elevator that takes you up to various levels within this tower and you will have to complete mini side Easter eggs to progress to the boss fight.

The unique thing about this map is, there is actually 2 bosses.....however.....you can choose which one you want to take on......no pressure.

Once you have made your choice of which boss you want to fight after being prompted, either RICHTOFEN or S.A.M., the LIFT will start to ascend.

No matter which boss we choose to fight, this section is always the same.

You will be taken first to the T3 DARK AETHER ELEMENTS VAULT 1 area.

When in this area it is pretty simple, there are 3 SOUL BOXES in this area. These simply need filled up with zombie souls. Kill as many zombies as you cna near the souls boxes and you will see their purple energy flow into the boxes.

You will know each box is full when it no longer accept any more souls into it.

Here are the SOUL BOX LOCATIONS in this area:

  • SOUL BOX LOCATION 1

  • SOUL BOX LOCATION 2

  • SOUL BOX LOCATION 3


Once these have been filled with zombie souls you will get a quote from S.A.M. or RICTHOFEN, then you need to return to the LIFT and interact with it, where there should now be 4 PILLARS on the corners of the lift starting to light up with a PURPLE GLOW on their SYMBOLS.





Then the lift will start moving upwards once more.

It will stop again, this time in an area called T3 DARK AETHER ELEMENTS VAULT 2.

The aim of the game here is to simply search around this area on the walls and ceiling to find PURPLE AETHER CRYSTALS that need to be destroyed. 

They appear in random places throughout this area, they just need to be destroyed, then return to the lift again to go onto the next stage.






If you return to the lift and it does not ascend upwards again, it means you have missed one of the PURPLE AETHER CRYSTALS in that area that needs to be destroyed. Go back and search high and low until you find it and shoot it before returning to the LIFT again.

Some parts of the wall will GLOW PURPLE but are not fully formed AETHER CRYSTALS, which almost tries to throw you off thinking you have to shoot these spots also.

As mentioned, it is the fully formed aether crystals that need show and destroyed before progressing onwards.




If successful, when you return to the LIFT, the 4 PILLARS should be firing ENERGY BEAMS into the SENTINEL ARTIFACT in the centre of the LIFT.

It will then ascend to the final area which is the FINAL BOSS FIGHT, the point of no return, eeeeek!

S.A.M. Boss 
First up, lets describe how to beat S.A.M. if you have chosen to fight against this boss. Lots of people are saying it is the easiest of the 2 boss fights, so lets go over that one first, as it is pretty straight forward.






When you reach the ROOFTOP area, S.A.M. will spawn above the building, emerging from a DARK AETHER PORTAL like an absolute giant beast of mechanical mayhem.

Of course, the first reaction when we see the boss......is to empty everything we have got into it from the get go. However, this will not work S.A.M., as it is IMMUNE when there is a PURPLE SHIELD around it.


S.A.M. has several types of attacks:

Dark Aether Energy Bombing Run....best name could come for it
When this happens, it will dash across the screen, dropping DARK AETHER ENERGY below it in a straight line





Horizontally Speaking Attack
It will also hover in the air and shoot PURPLE DARK AETHER ENERGY BLASTS directly at you or across the ROOFTOP area from the sides.



Laser Precision Attack
When this attack is finished, it is your chance to do some serious damage to it, as it's shields go down and exposes its core and 4 red critical hit points on its body.






When S.A.M. has fired her LASER BEAM ATTACK, there will be a brief period of time it's shield will go down. 

This will then allow you to inflict damage on it by shooting the GIANT GLOWING EYE in the middle of it as well as the 4 SMALLER RED POINTS around it to deal more severe, critical damage.

Spinning Energy Mine Attack
This is the only other attack where when it is finished, you can inflict damage to S.A.M. afterwards, as its shields go down once more.






It will spin around in the centre of the ROOFTOP area and throw out ENERGY MINES left, right and centre, in all directions. Be careful when training the zombies around in this area you don't get caught in areas where they have several bunched up together as it can do some serious damage if your not paying attention.

Once she has finished spinning and firing out these mines, her shields will go down and you can deal damage to her again.

Once you do enough damage to her and she gets to a certain stage, she will initiate a S.A.M. TRIAL that you can complete while up here.




It is a very good idea to complete this S.A.M. TRIAL because it will give you a MASTERY BONUS for doing this, which will be in the form of a FREE PERK S.A.M. will drop for you.



Now when you finish the S.A.M. TRIAL, successfully or unsuccessfully, when the time expires, S.A.M. will return again for Phase 2.

In this phase, it will have the same attacks as in the first phase, but the energy mines it throws out at random will be much more frantic and sporadic.


Repeat the process of waiting for the shields to drop and deal as much damage as you can.

Once we have done a certain amount of damage to it, it will initiate another S.A.M. TRIAL in the ROOFTOP area. Activate it and complete this TRIAL to get another FREE RANDOM PERK!





She will then return again with the same attacks as before, but with an additional attack where she fires BLUE ORBS at you that launches you into the air.

You will then have to PARACHUTE back down to the rooftop again.  Get back into the fight until you deal enough damage to her until she starts to deploy DARK AETHER PORTALS around the ROOFTOP to bring in even more zombie enemy types and hordes to destroy you.






When these portals appear, she will appear and disappear temporarily. Then on return follow the same procedure to wait until its shields are down to deal out the damage.






This should then destroy it once and for all.

UBER RICHTOFEN......Uber cool!
If you chose to fight RICHTOFEN, when you come up to the ROOFTOP area from the LIFT, you will see UBER RICHTOFEN launch himself off the raised platform above you like a super hero and charge at you like a freight train.




He will have attacks where he can fire ELECTRICAL PULSES of energy like a MORTAR, which has an arc to its shots, raising up them curving down.



He can also jump onto the ground and INITIATE A GROUND ELECTRICAL SHOCK that can damage you, as well as throw you back a bit of a distance. Be careful if near the building edge when he does this attack.



He also is able to punch you quite hard if he gets a hold of you, which always hurts, you can imagine.

We can keep shooting him in all places to deal damage, however like the UBER KLAUS, if we shoot off his SHOULDER PANELS, it will reveal his weak spots.




These weak spots will be glowing BLUE and each time you shoot it the damage counter will be BLUE also, letting you know you are successfully targeting the weak point. 

While you start to get his health in this first phase low, he will start to spawn in UBER KLAUS special zombies, UBER KLAUS CORE zombies and many more variations to save his own skin.

When you destroy him in the first phase, it seems very easy this fight....right? WRONG!!!!! Sorry for shouting.

He will then initiate Phase 2 of his fight where he will fly up into the air and start dropping aerial bombardments on you, however when his energy bombs hit the deck, they stay dormant and do not explode.








They act like landmines around the area so be very careful not to step on these.

As he flies around the rooftop chasing you like a madman, he will also be firing electricity bolts at you.

Remember to keep moving and not to stay still too long as the amount of special zombies chasing you, combined with him hitting you from above and the possibility of standing on his land mines are a recipe for disaster.



When you destroy him you will see a small cut scene play and that will be the end of the RECKONING zombies Easter egg for this level.
