Step 7 - Ring a ring a roses...

When you return back to the present day, use the wonder sphere to launch yourself back to the castle, its quicker than calling a taxi, and whoever picked up the GOLDEN ROD, tell them to take it down to the room where you originally picked up the WRATH OF THE ANCIENTS BOW, which is sort of a tomb like room with the body of a knight laying on the tomb of someone.





Once here, place the GOLDEN ROD into the stone slab in front of the knight. Once done, it will spawn a GHOSTLY GATEKEEPER. He will start doing a runner straight away and will want you to follow him. He will lead you to a STONE SYMBOL on a wall in one of 4 locations around the map. When the gatekeeper gets to one of the stone symbols on the wall and stands in front of them, it will make a small white ring appear on the floor.

 
 
 

The more players that stand in the white ring, the bigger it becomes. You will know you are in the ring as in the Heads Up Display of your character, there will be a coloured faded glow appearing at the bottom of the screen. This means you need to use a particular type of upgraded bow needs to be used to kill zombies while in this ring or close by. For example if it glows orange, you will use the upgraded fire bow to kill zombies within the ring. For every zombie you kill, the souls of them will be collected by the gate keeper in each of the 4 locations.

Once the location has been completed and the gate keeper has done is Shang Tsung soul collecting party trick, he will move onto the next location. When it comes to the location near DOUBLE TAP, you will need to place the STONE SLAB you took from Dr Groth's lab onto the wall with the symbol on it. This is needed in order for the gate keeper to actually collect the loose souls. Once all 4 locations have been completed, the gate keeper will no longer be a ghost, cancel the call to ghostbusters, and will head down to the PYRAMID area in the UNDERCROFT.

Step 8 - "Lasers....how very Sci Fi"

 
 
 
 
Once the gate keeper has made his way into the PYRAMID area, he will go out into the centre of where the pyramid was and all of a sudden 4 laser beams will shoot into the centre of him and teleport him to the moon. This will then trigger a sequence of quotes from characters in the game and on the moon dramatising what is happening up there....whereas we can only imagine.

Once this narrative sequence has ended, you will then see the MPD teleport back to where the gatekeeper was standing before he was teleported. Take a look around the MPD and you will notice that there are BLUE VILES located at each corner of the MPD. HOWEVER, you knew it was coming, there is one VILE missing from one of the corners. Whoever had taken the BLUE VILE from Dr Gorth's lab during the teleportation sequences, needs to place the vile in the corner with the missing vile. Once this has been placed, the next step is a major boss battle.




Step 9 - Your not the boss of me


Before taking on the boss, all players within the game must have acquired and built the RAGNOROK DG4 GRAVITY SPIKES and have them charged and ready to use before continuing. To charge the RAGNOROK up, zombie kills are required to do this. Once you have suited and booted yourselves up with PACK A PUNCHED weapons, perks, gobble gum and their charged gravity spikes, stand in front of the MPD each person on the blue floor tiles that are glowing. Then all players must get out their gravity spikes and plant them in the ground at these blue tile locations.


Within a few seconds, you will be teleported to the gate keeper boss fight location. You will find yourself in a room with a pad of blue glowing columns within an inner circle with a very dark pitch black outer circle. Regular zombies will not spawn here but skeleton zombies will attack you instead. These will come from the ground and you need to be aware of your surroundings and kill them ASAP so not to be jumped by them.



The GATE KEEPER boss has 3 different attacks:


  • Lava pods rising from the ground. These take a second or two to initiate so can be easily avoided before they rise. If you are caught in a pod when it rises, it causes you a lot of damage as well as making your character slow down significantly leaving you open to additional hits from dogs or skeleton zombies.

  • Large swarm of Gate Keeper purple skills fired towards you. These can be shot at and destroyed as they come towards you. These can inflict a lot of damage, especially if a large swarm of them has locked onto your character. 

  • Large electrical surge, downs a player in one hit, but is also where your counter attacks come from.


When the gate keeper is about to do the large electrical surge attack, a BLUE ORB will appear in the centre of the inner ring. When it does, a player must slam down their RAGNOROK gravity spikes into it in order to initiate a trap for the gate keeper that then allows damage to be inflicted onto him. You need to hide behind the pillars when the gravity spikes are placed down as this will make you avoid being hit by the electrical surge when it erupts.


The gate keeper will appear above the blue orb with his hands behind his back and a yellow glowing part on his chest which you need to shoot with upgraded bows in order to inflict damage onto him. After a certain amount of damage has been inflicted, the keeper will return to the standard 3 attacks he carries out. Whoever placed their RAGNOROKS in the centre of the inner circle, must pick them back up and start charging them again by killing skeletons.

Keep dodging the gate keeper attacks again until the blue orb in the centre appears, simply repeat the steps before and shooting him in the chest to inflict more damage.

Step 4 - Back to the DEATH RAY trap


Head back over to the death ray trap and check out the sparking pillars that have electricity coursing their electrical veins. You will notice that two of the pillars have two cylinders installed on each, but one is missing in the middle. Whoever picked up the two cylinder objects from Dr Groth's safe needs to insert these two objects in the middle of these pillars for the death ray.


 
 
 
Once this has been done, head over the death ray control panel which says DESTROY or PROTECT and pull the lever to change it back to DESTROY. Once you have done this, the two computers that are located around the map will become active again once more. The computers are located at:
  • The bell tower
  • The rocket launch area

Step 5 - Simon says what?.....


Head over to the computers and hold the use button on the console, doing so will make 4 symbols appear on the screens with the middle larger screen appearing blank at first. Memorise or write down the locations and symbols on each of the 4 smaller screens, as we are about to play a good old fashion game of Simon says.

 
 
The large monitor in the middle will display a large symbol and it will want you to match which smaller screen it appeared on originally before disappearing. As the symbols pop up on the larger screen, go over to its location on the smaller screens and hit the use button to activate them. While going through this little game, an infinite spawn of hell hounds will appear searching for their next meal. If playing with 2 or more players, get someone to cover you while playing this game as it makes playing much easier and stress free.



Once you have completed each computer, you will notice that one of the balls that surges electricity when the DEATH RAY TRAP is in use, will start to glow. SUCCESS! Now you need to repeat the process for the computer located at the ROCKET TEST site and play another game of Simon says. The sequence of symbols that appear on the screens of course will be in a totally different order to the ones previous.....come on you didn't think it would be that easy did you? :)

If at any point you fail the second computer game of Simon says, you will need to go back to the bell tower and complete that computer again, then proceed back to the rocket test site and redo that computers game.


Step 6- Death Ray here we come......again :)


When you have completed both games of Simon says, head back to the death ray location and you will notice on the control panel of it there will be a glowing green button on the side of it. PRESS the GREEN button on the side of the DEATH RAY and a huge surge of electricity will be emitted, causing a rocket to fall from the sky and plummet back to earth. It will crash land wiping out the top part of the bell tower and crashing into the main courtyard of the castle.



 


 


 


 


 

 
The container of Dempsey will also have crashed in the courtyard covered in electricity.....shocking I know get it? :) Dr Groth will now speak over the tannoy system toward Richtofen saying that he has activated the emergency containment field around the test subjects cryo chamber to protect him. Now after Dr Groth's rant on the tannoy, you will notice there is a GOLDEN ROD that has crashed landed along with Dempsey which you can pick up beside the crashed rocket ship.


Step 7 - Back to the future or is it the past?

Once step 6 is completed, in the next round following, it will activate the GLOWING OBJECTS again of which 4 need to be shot with the upgraded bows. Then once this is completed, you will use the teleporter once more to go back in time with all players standing on the pad at the same time and pressing the use button. The purpose of going back in time again is to collect one more object that we need, Dr Groth will not be there this time, he may be on a tea break or something.....mad scientists need breaks too you know.







In one corner of the room, there is a BOOK ON A DESK. What you need to do is go to the book and hit the use button on the book which will in turn, open a capsule within the room which contains a STONE SLAB on a bed of hay. Simply pick up the stone slab which will be used in the next part of the easter egg.

Easter Egg Guide Walkthrough: -- Part 1 -- Part 2 -- Part 3 -- Part 4 --


Hi guys,

this Easter Egg guide walks you through every single part of the level that needs to be done in order to gain the coveted Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 "My brothers keeper" achievement. It can be completed in solo mode if you have no one else to play it with, or with 2, 3 or 4 players.....I can count to 5 but I will not show off here :)

First up before starting the Easter Egg, you must make sure you have:
  • All of the 4 Bows within this level upgraded first before you begin. (Bow Guide)
  • Built the Ragnarok  DG4 Gravity Spikes (Gravity Spikes Guide)

Step 1 - Teleporter Pod Activation

Get yourself a normal bow and head down to the teleporter room in the underground section of the castle. When here, you will need to shoot each of the CIRCULAR PODS located above the teleporter.





When you shoot them, they will start to glow orange and you will hear a freaky and somewhat strange gurgling noise indicating that you have successfully completed shooting the PODS and initiated the Easter Egg. You will start to notice that some objects in the game will become electrified after this stage. There will be in total 4 of these objects that will be electrified in a single play through that randomly change everytime you play the level.

1 Object is electrified at a time and you only have a certain time to locate the electrified object and shoot it before it randomly electrifies another item that you must hunt down and shoot. with an UPGRADED BOW.

The list of objects that are electrified and their locations are:
  • Clock or Radio in the CHURCH
  • Phone in the POWER ROOM
  • Car Tyre next to the DOUBLE TAP PERK MACHINE
  • Box in the BUILDABLE ROOM above double tap
  • A globe in SAMANTHA's ROOM
  • A phone in the main spawn room next to the QUICK REVIVE
  • Clock in the room next to the BELL TOWER



I am no fortune teller, the pattern and sequence of which items are becoming electrified each play through are totally random and not even a psychic could tell you which one is coming next. If you cannot find all 4 items to shoot within a certain time, another strange noise will play, indicating that the challenge has failed. You can also fail the challenge if you shoot your bow near an object that can be electrified, but is not actually part of the sequence and is not glowing indicating it is to be shot, you will also fail big time.....epically.

Don't worry if you fail, everyone does at sometime in life, but you can try again on the next round to repeat this step and succeed. When you have successfully completed this step, you will hear a strange noise again and if you make your way back to the teleporter area, it will now have a purple glow around it.


Step 2 - Back to the future....time travel


Once step 1 is completed, every player in the game needs to stand on the teleporter and activate it using the action button. You will be whisked back in time to the lab area of the castle only years in the past.  A cut scene will play here and give you some story knowledge about Dr Groth, but another reason to be in here is to do 3 important things:
  • Grab the large BLUE VILE
  • Grab the fuses
  • Shoulder surf and memorise the code Dr Groth puts on his safe - this is in the form of 3 symbols on the right hand front panel of the safe....you will need these later. These symbols change every play through of this map.
 




When its time to leave, you will be at the ROCKET PAD area. Make your way through to the main launch pad area of the rocket and you will be confronted with a Panzer Soldat. The left over zombies you had in the round before you teleported will also fill the area so beware and watch your back. Kick their asses and then take the WONDER SPHERE back to the main spawn area, and head over to the DEATH RAY TRAP.



Step 3 - Death Ray Trap

 

When you have made it back to the death ray trap area, along the side of the death ray is a small square that will allow you to insert the fuses that you had taken from Dr Groths laboratory in the past. Insert the fuse here and you will see a blue glow of electricity surging through it. This will then change the needle on the actual DEATH RAY TRAP from DESTROY to PROTECT. Simply press the USE BUTTON to change this and it will activate a lever which moves it over.

 


Once you have done this, run over to where the Wonderfizz machine is located near the BELL TOWER and you will notice that the computer terminal with the 4 screens will now become active. Each screen will have a symbol displayed on it. Each of these 4 symbols will be the ones that are related to the ones you saw on Dr Groth's safe. You need to input the symbols you saw Dr Groth input from top to bottom in these screens, interacting with them to change the symbol on each screen to the correct one in sequence. The screens go left to right which symbolise the safes top to bottom input.

 

If you accidentally mess up this part, you will need to repeat steps 1 and 2 again, in a new round. However when you go back in time again, Dr Groth will have input a different code into the safe which again you must memorise and try and put into the machine correctly this time so be careful.

When you input the correct code into the computer, it will open the safe in the teleporter room and will allow one player to pickup two cylindrical objects and the group 935 card from the safe to take with them. Character narration will begin stating that you will need to bring the rocket that Dempsey is on, back down to the earth, along with Dr Groth speaking over the castle tannoy system about Richtofen.
