Icebane Helmet in Totenreich - Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies

Hi guys,

Here is how we can get the ICEBANE VIKING HELMET within the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 zombies map, Totenreich.

Here is a quick overview of what we will need to do in order to get this awesome helmet, which is probably the best helmet out of them all, as it has 2 unique abilities which are very useful:

• Find and use the Flammenfalle trap so that it is spewing out a breath of fire

• Get about 250 zombie kills using the trap’s flamethrower/fire effect

• Then kill around 50 frozen/ice zombies while standing in the trap’s buff aura using a normal bullet weapon (no explosives or ammo mods).

• After enough kills, the Icebane Helmet drops on the ground — pick it up.

• You become immune to freezing during ice rounds and can freeze nearby zombies when sliding.

Now lets get into the nitty gritty!

Goodness Gracious Great Flammenfalle's of Fire!

Head over to where one of the FLAMMENFALLE traps is located. 

There is one in the CORE FOUNDRY area and will cost a total of 1000 credits to activate the FLAME THROWER part of the trap.

Once activated, we are looking to get 250 kills in total with this trap.

Once we think we have enough kills, we can then move onto the second part of obtaining this helmet.

Throwing a MONKEY BOMB or DISTRACTION GRENADE into the flames path can really help lure tonnes of zombies into the trap really quickly, to get the numbers up.

Unfortunately there is no visual or audio cue to tell us that we have completed this 250 kill step. What you can do is, activate the trap as early as possibly and keep an eye on your eliminations in your score on the round leader board so that you know how many has been destroyed so far.

If using the trap all the time, after about 15 to 20 rounds, it should be a safe bet that you would have had enough zombies by that point, you can head onto the next part of the Easter egg to get the ICEBANE HELMET.

Buff-e the Zombie Slayer

Once we have the 250 zombies dealt with, we can now wait for a SPECIAL ROUND, where the FROST will start to creep in and slowly freeze our bodies.

When this happens, we need to head to the FLAMMENFALLE trap one more time, but this time, we need to activate the HEAT INFUSED BUFF ZONE part of the trap which also costs 1000 credits.

Once active, stay inside the buff zone and shoot 50 FROZEN ZOMBIES within the circle.

You can use any bullet weapons you like, as well as the JOTUNN STAR wonder weapon, however you cannot use explosive weapons to count towards the kills.

You might also need to spread this over 2 special rounds if there is not enough zombies spawned in the current special round you are in.

Once enough zombies have been killed, they will eventually drop the ICE BANE HELMET for you to pick up, so keep an eye out.

When this helmet is equipped, every third slide you do while wearing this helmet, if you slide into zombies the third time, it will freeze them and slow them down, helping to control large hordes in later rounds.

It will also mean that during special rounds, you will not freeze or slow down and take some minor damage during the frostbite in that round.

Very handy helmet to have.
