Hi guys,

Here is how we can activate the RICHTOFEN EASTER EGG within the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 zombies map, Totenreich.

The Richtofen Easter Egg in the Totenreich map revolves around uncovering hidden experiments connected to Edward Richtofen and the Dark Aether storyline.

The Easter Egg ultimately reveals more about Richtofen’s secret research and his connection to the undead outbreak, ending with a massive zombie assault and a story-focused cutscene that pushes the Black Ops 7 Zombies narrative forward.

Pre-requisites

In order to see this awesome side Easter egg for Richtofen, we need to have done the following 3 pre-requisites:

Choose Richtofen as an operator before the match starts
Get to round 15, before this Easter egg can be attempted
Purchased the Melee Macchiato Perk

Now that we have those 3 minor little details out of the way, let's get down to it!

Ricthofen, to the core

We need to head over to the CORE FOUNDRY area of the map and specifically the GREENISH METAL BUILDING that is facing the MELEE MACCHIATO PERK MACHINE.

If you head over to the building shown in the images below, you will notice that there is a OIL DRUM outside it. With MELEE MACCHIATO equipped, MELEE this drum and the lid will fly off it.

You will notice bits of guts and an unidentifiable mess inside this drum, however if you interact with this drum when the lid is off and you are playing as RICHTOFEN, you will get a DIGGING progress bar appearing on screen.

When you get to the end of this progress bar, in the drum, you will notice a MEDAL coming to the surface of the piles of GUTS.

Interact with it one more time to pick this up.

Not only will it mentioned you have obtained a new INTEL ARTEFACT, but it will start the side Easter egg for you.

The screen will go blurry at this point, don't worry your not wearing beer goggles, and it will place you in a CORRIDOR which leads you down to the office of WOLFRAM VON LIST.

Follow the corridor down to the end and enter his office.

As you move through the hallway, the statues lining both sides will suddenly swing their swords out, blocking your path. Check the right side of the hall and you’ll spot a document near the base of one of the statues. Pick it up to unlock the way forward.

As you continue, more statues will appear to stop you, so keep grabbing the documents scattered across the floor to progress deeper into the area.

Once you reach the office chamber, the doors will seal shut and a lengthy radio conversation will begin playing. After the dialogue finishes, grab the sword resting beside the chair and place it into the hands of the statue on the right side of the room.

This action triggers another dialogue sequence. When it’s over, head toward the table positioned in the centre of the room.

On the table, you’ll find a weighing scale along with several blue crystals and miniature figurines. Place all three blue crystals onto the right side of the scale. Then place three miniature statues onto the left side.

Doing this will activate a cutscene featuring Von List.

After the cutscene ends, walk over to the radio and interact with it.

Enter the code 01-01-05 to begin the next phase.

A zombie horde will spawn immediately, so survive the attack and fight your way out of the castle to complete the Totenreich Richtofen Easter Egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
