Hi guys,

a new little side Easter egg that has been added into Ashes of the Damned in Call Of Duty Black Ops 7 zombies, is a little TRASH CAN called CHOMPY that we feed with weapons, in order to get rewards spat back out at us.

He is like a recycling centre for weapons that nobody wants anymore.

All you have to do to put him to work is MELEE the TRASH CAN to wake him up and the bin lid will fly open.

It will then prompt you to interact with the bin saying "FEED WEAPON".

Interact with him to feed it your weapon and it will then spew out some aetherial energy along with a reward, which can be anything from SALVAGE, ESSENCE and if you are the luckiest person within the game, a WONDER WEAPON.

Sometimes the better the gun,  its rarity,  if Pack A Punched etc. it may increase your chances of getting a better reward, however it is not 100% confirmed that this is how it works.

So far 2 known location of CHOMPY are:

• VANDORN'S FARM - To the right of the BARN outside and to the left of the FARM HOUSE. Right in the middle between these two buildings he is sitting patiently up against the wooden fence.

• BLACKWATER LAKE - Behind the CABIN, near the steps where one of the FILM REELS is located, there is a CHOMPY no the DECKING outside, near where the DOCK is located for the boats.

• PROJECT JANUS PLAZA - outside the SERVER ROOM door you need to purchase, where Ol' Tessie is parked facing that side of the building.

What is the point of CHOMPY? Well in my opinion it's a great way to recycle weapons for instance you get from the MYSTERY BOX that you would otherwise discard for another.

For instance we, we all hate getting sniper rifles from the MYSTERY BOX right? 

Instead of gambling on the mystery box time after time for a better weapon, we can recoup something for this unwanted sniper in the form of feeding it to CHOMPY. We do this in the hope that we will get some of our money back in essence on what we spent on hte mystery box to obtain it initially, obtain salvage to build other things with, or a possible chance at a free wonder weapon.

It is a nice addition to the zombies game mode and I am sure you will see him or similar functionality in the later maps that come out.
