here is the map layout for the "Department Store" area of Gorod Krovi in Call Of Duty Black Ops 3. In this department store, you won't be buying luxury items such as Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss etc....but if you are interested in charred zombie remains and demolished parts of buildings.....we have plenty in stock! This is because it looks like this area has, and from time to time in the map still is, trashed by one of the giant dragons that likes to heat the department store with his napalm breath at regular intervals on the map. One area being the Department Stores 3rd floor which he probably sleeps on after a long night out terrorising the neighbourhood.
First lets get a look at the Department Stores 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors to see how it flows.
1st Floor Layout:
2nd Floor Layout:
3rd Floor Layout:
The Department store is the first port of call as soon as you start the game, that allowed you access to all the other areas of the map such as the Armory, Infirmary etc. On the first floor there is a Group 935 Bomb Location. This relates to a challenge set by the computer in the Dragon Command building. These bombs relate to STEP 6 in the Main Easter Egg Guide which you should check out. There are 6 challenges in total set by the computer that you must complete on this map to progress to the Easter Egg completion.
The Musical Easter Egg in this area is in the form of a wine bottle. When all 3 are found on this map, it will play the "Dead Ended" song by Clark S Nova. If you do not know the locations of the other 2 bottles, check out my DEAD ENDED GUIDE HERE. Altogether there are 3 Musical Easter Eggs on this map:
"Dead Ended" by Clark S Nova
"Ace of Spades" by Motorhead
"Samanthas Lullaby"
On the second floor we have a small office just to the right of the stairs as you head up to the second floor. This houses some sweet treasures such as the Juggernaut Perk machine as well as the Coat / Clothes rack which allows you to obtain helmets for your characters in this level, which gives them special abilities and boosts. Such as the DRONE HELMET. if your unsure how to get this, do not worry or go nuts panicking, simply check out my DRONE HAT / MASK GUIDE here.
On the third floor is one of the more dangerous areas to be in inside this building. Every 60 seconds or so, a dragon flies overhead and hovers above the department store, raining down napalm around the area dotted with white X's on the third floor map layout. You do not want to be in this area when it goes up as you will be downed very quickly. If zombies are caught in the fire, they catch fire and become NAPALM ZOMBIES. Killing them makes them explode. These bear relation to the Challenge boards where it asks you to kill so many napalm zombies to complete a challenge.
The napalm scorch zones are also used in different locations to throw a monkey bomb into the flames in order to activate Samantha's Lullaby Musical Easter Egg Song. Again if unsure, check out the SAMANTHA'S LULLABY GUIDE here.
Last but not least to mention there is Pressure Dials dotted around the map, 6 in total if I remember correctly. These are located in the following areas:
here is the "Belsinki Square" map layout, otherwise known as the MAIN SPAWN AREA, for Gorod Krovi Zombies in Black Ops 3. It has been a long time coming due to being a little bit of ill health on my part, but I am here now ready to give it my all before the final DLC is released for Black Ops 3 (Wipes tear from corner of eye *sniffle*).
I am really looking forward to the Zombies in Spaceland chapter that Call Of Duty Infinite is cooking up and totally loved the teaser trailer they released for it, cannot wait!....break dancing zombies what more do you want? First lets get the map layout for Belsinki Square out of the road first to see what we are dealing with:
Belsinki Square is a fairly small and tight area due to the narrow trenches that weave their way around this area. There are also plenty of zombie spawn locations which can, in later rounds, make this area fill up pretty fast, so you better have your wits about you and your running shoes on when in this area on higher rounds from around 12 upwards. The good news is that these long narrow sections of trenches make it easy to train zombies into long lines, enabling you to deal maximum damage with explosive weapons such as grenades, rocket launchers or weapons with splash damage.
Some of the key features this area has are:
Samantha's Hide and Seek Game Location (Main Easter Egg)...
Challenge Boards (Similar to pillars in Zetsubou No Shima)
Zombie Trap Switch (Power needs turned on to activate)
Door to enter the Department Store (Costs 500 to open)
Area where initial spawn is where a WHELP is launched, related to MAIN EASTER EGG
Quick Revive is located in this location and is always needed in SOLO mode to self revive or to get your team mates off their asses and back on their feet pronto! It is located next to the door to the Department Store which gets the ball rolling on this epic map and also lands you in a whole lot more trouble than you bargained for.
The challenge boards on the map are in the form of tombstones. These are the same as the pillars in Zetsubou No Shima and each player has his own set of challenges to do, as well as a special challenge to activate and complete at the bottom. The one with the GREEN flame emanating from the top is the tombstone challenges for your character,
Unless you have been playing the map with your eyes closed.....and survived to a high round....I congratulate you, but you will also have noticed the giant 20 tons dragons flying around the area napalming and destroying buildings. Don't be alarmed, in this reality it is normal...."State pays for everything" as Nikolai says, so don't worry if the dragon blows up a £20 million building its only money, can be replaced. You will see a dead dragon to the right hand side of the main spawn showing you that the dragon's can, and later will need to be, killed in a dragon boss fight, one of two boss fights on this map.
To see the details about the "Samantha's Hide and Seek" game on the map, see the full Samantha Lullaby Guide here. The "Dragon Whelp Launch Location" relates to the main Easter Egg and should be checked.
Thanks for reading as always guys and enjoy the map!
here is how to get the THIRD Easter Egg song to activate in Gorod Krovi Zombies. This has been dubbed Samantha's Lullaby by everyone on the Internet so that is what we will also call it from now on. It has a very slow pace to it, with a nice acoustic guitar being plucked, picked and strung and actually is very relaxing indeed to listen to. Lets find out how to activate it and soothe your appetite that is craving for free music! It involves chasing a doll of Samantha around, which is playing a game of hide and seek with you, and incinerating a bunch of Monkey's in the napalm fire breathe of a dragon!
Step 1 - Stop Monkeying Around
First up, we are going to need the MONKEY BOMBS from the random crate. As you know its never a sure thing they will appear anytime soon so stock up on plenty of cash and keep having a go until you get them, don't give up. We are going to use these monkey's in 3 very specific locations around the map. These 3 locations are the same as the code cylinders we picked up earlier in order to activate the summon dragon feature on the map which allows us to fly around like a crazed lunatic on the back of the dragon.
The locations we will use these monkey's are at:
Dragon Control
Tank Factory
Supply Depot
So once we have obtained our Monkey Bombs from the Mystery Crate, lets head over to the DRAGON COMMAND building and on the front steps to the building, wait until the Dragon flying overhead on the map breathes fire on the street outside and turns the whole street into one giant fireball. When he does, fire the monkey bomb into the fire. Once you do, you will hear the monkey screaming like.....as if he was on fire....because he is....and this will let you know that you have successfully done this part of the Musical Easter Egg.
Next, lets head over to the TANK FACTORY where we will repeat this process again. Go inside and wait to the side of the area that the dragon torches with his fire breath, and when he does, toss another monkey into the flames so he can join his first buddy.
Again you will hear it scream letting you know that you have successfully activated this second monkey location. Now lets move onto the third location which is the SUPPLY DEPOT so we can repeat the process. Again wait for the area to become filled with napalm fury from the dragons mouth, then fire the third and final monkey bomb into the fire for one more squeal. When this has been done successfully, and audio queue will play, letting us know we can move onto step 2.
Step 2 - I thought Samantha was taller?
Now head back towards where the MAIN SPAWN ROOM was located, and right at the back of it, you will see a small figure of Samantha sitting on the ground. All you have to do is press the USE button on this little figure, and it will activate what is known as "HIDE AND SEEK" mode.
Now once you activate the small figure, make sure the volume is turned up loud as you will need to listen to Samantha as she will be telling you where she is. If you do not have your volume up high, over all the zombie groans and gunfire, it will be very difficult to hear what she has to say which is very important indeed, so crank up that sound dial.
She will give you very specific instructions on where to find each of the figures of her, and when you find them, you shoot them, and they will disappear in a puff of smoke style vanishing act. You need to find and shooter her 5 times in total, WITHIN A SET TIME. If you cannot find the figures in time, each one has a set amount of time to find when you shoot one, she will let out a laugh, indicating you have failed the challenge. Don't panic or freak out, you can simply run back to the MAIN SPAWN AREA and hold the USE button on the small figure to reactivate the challenge again.
Some of the locations she appears, but there are more:
On the end of the Tanks Gun Barrel outside DRAGON COMMAND building.
Upstairs on top of a box in the SUPPLY DEPOT / LIBRARY area
In the Operations Bunked through the collapsed wall, on a shelf
Under metal Platform Attached to DRAGON COMMAND building, next to Giant Robot's Foot
In the DRAGON COMMAND BUILDING on broken pillar to left of main stairs
If you fail, the figures will appear in totally random locations again and not necessarily the same locations as they were before. So again listen very carefully to what she says if you have to redo this whole step again. If you have done it correctly, then an audio cue will play which means you can now proceed onto the final step.
Step 3 - You spin me right round baby right round like a record baby!
Now to finish off this Musical Easter Egg we just need Maestro to start playing for us. Simply head back to the MAIN SPAWN AREA and go to where the original figure of Samantha was. You will now see that it is spinning around like a ballerina, simply tap and hold the USE button on it several times and it should make a skeleton hand pop out of the ground, raise the figure into the air and then lower her back into the grave.....in doing so you will be rewarded with a MAX AMMO. As soon as you pick up the max ammo....the song will play....sweet!
Thanks for reading as always guys, *PLEASE NOTE*: No monkeys where harmed in the activation of this Musical Easter Egg.
here is possibly one of the best Easter Egg songs in any of the Zombie maps to date, its the amazing and rocking tune from Motorhead called "The Ace Of Spades". It definitely suits the game, the environment and the terrifying peril you are always in when running away from a huge horde of zombies it just heightens the senses when you hear it playing and gets the adrenaline flowing through your veins putting you into zombie overkill mode!
Lets find out how we activate this awesome tune in the Gorod Krovi map. Basically there are 3 Ace Of Spade cards around the map that you need to locate. This is pretty much the same as the vodka bottles Easter Egg song which is also in this map and has 3 vodka bottles you need to find in order to get the song "Dead Ended" to play.
Ace Of Spades Card 1 Location
The first card is located in the TANK FACTORY area. It is located in the room where DOUBLE TAP is located, and just to the right of the DOUBLE TAP PERK MACHINE is a CHALKBOARD. This chalkboard has a small Ace Of Spades card located in the bottom left hand corner of it. Simply hold the use button to activate it and you will hear a low volume "clicking" sound, once you hear that, you can move onto the next location.
Ace Of Spades Card 2 Location
The second card location is in the DRAGON COMMAND area, as soon as you go in the front door of the building, head up the stairs and take the first room on the left which has a little office with desks etc. inside it. The Ace of Spades card is sitting on the desk looking lonely. Press the use button on it and it will make that clicking noise again....then onwards and upwards to the last one to get our musical delight as a reward for finding these cards.
Ace Of Spades Card Location 3
The third and final card is located in the Pack A Punch building. You will need to ride the dragon over to get to the Pack A Punch building / the Hatchery area. If you do not know how to get to Pack A Punch then check out the guide here. This last card is being using as a book mark on a book that is sitting on the desk immediately to the right of the PACK A PUNCH MACHINE. It might be a little hard to see head on but if you look at the desk from the side you will see the little card sticking out.
As soon as you press the card the song will start to play so sit back, relax and enjoy.....but not too much the zombies don't appreciate a good tune when they hear it and will continue to try and chew your arms and legs off.
