Hi guys,
here how to activate the PACK A PUNCH MACHINE in the Rex Infernus zombies map within Call of Duty Black Ops 7.
As with every map, activating the Pack A Punch Machine is a must, it is needed for most of the main Easter egg quests no matter which zombie map we are on.
It also gives us a fighting chance to destroy zombies on the higher rounds which would otherwise pulverize into small pieces if we had only the standard weapons available from wall buys.
Let's find out how we can activate the dream machine within Rex Infernus!
Activating Pack-a-Punch
When we spawn into Rex Infernus, we need to get out of the HER HOUSE area, which we can only do from ROUND 3 onwards, when the TELEPHONE on the ground floor rings.
Up until round 3, simply start collecting points and survive the zombie onslaught until that phone call you have been waiting on emerges. An objective marker will guide you to the PHONES exact location.
When the phone is answered, the TWINS will talk to you and then a BLUE ENERGY ORB will smash through the front doors of the house, making a PORTAL appear, which will teleport you into the main central area of the map.
Leave through the newly opened portal to travel to the Nexus Forge area.
In the NEXUS FORGE AREA, go up to the centre of the stone structures in the centre and hold the interact button to place the WORLD SEED on top of the LARGE PEDESTAL with golden style leaves on in the middle.

Once placed, 2 RED ENERGY BOLTS will start going from 2 DREADED SKULLS IN CAGES to the left and right of this area, into the WORLD SEED.
After a few seconds they will then explode the SKULLS, bursting out of their cages and begin to float around the map.
We will be tasked with destroying these 2 red skulls.
A red Dread Skull flies towards the NYXARA MAIN CHAMBER direction. Follow it and shoot it as much as you can, giving it as much damage as possible at all times.
Zombies will be spawning in as you chase these skulls and shoot them and some zombies will have RED GLOWING EYES like the SKULLS themselves have.
Once we have given enough damage to a skull, it will explode in a burst of RED ENERGY.
Once this happens, you will notice where you destroyed it, a small FIREBALL will drop to the ground....this is a type of FIRE PIT / BRAZIER.
Walk up to the BRAZIER and pick up the UNSURPED FLAME it leaves behind.
You will now appear as if you are on fire and your character will have a new ability which is
Return to the Nexus Forge area and place the flame into one of the 2 unlit braziers, causing it to light up.
We will repeat for the second Dreaded Skull to relight the second BRAZIER in the centre where the Pack A Punch Machine is located.
The second skull will make its way to the temple opposite where the other skull went to, in the CALTHERIS PASSAGE / ENTRACE area of the map.
It will then start to slowly move into the CALTHERIS MAIN CHAMBER where you can deal the most damage to it and once enough has been given, it will drop a fireball again that will turn into a lit brazier, which you can take the UNSURPED FLAME from.
Repeat the same process to return to the second unlit brazier beside the Pack A Punch Machine and use the flame to light it.
This will then update your objective which will tell you to turn the Crank Wheels on the sides of Pack A punch.
There are 2 wheels, one on each side of the machine, which need turned and there will be a progress bar that appears and lets you know how far you have turned the wheels so far.
Get both wheels bars cranked up to the max and then the Pack A Punch machine will make YELLOW CIRCLES appears around it which rotate around the central area around the machine.
These circles can actually hurt you if you get hit with them, but they also kill zombies who walk into their path, so there is a yellow lining to this cloud.
The platform you are on with the machine will also drop down a few feet once activated.
From there you can then upgrade your guns by interacting with the machine in the centre of this area.
