here is how to get the infamous SPIDER BAIT weapon in Zetsubou No Shima zombies, which allows you to play as a SPIDER! Insane I know but it is possible in the weird and wonderful world of zombies. This neat little trick can be used once and can be reloaded when you get a max ammo pickup to replenish its 8 legged goodness!
If you want to know how to play as the spider, then simply scrolls those inquisitive eyes down to step 1. BUT! Before we do, get that checklist out again as you will need to have another few things done before you get this weird and wonderful treat. You will need to:
- Kill the Spider Boss located in the cave in LAB A Area
- Be in possession of the Skull Of Nan Sapwe
- Have the Electrified Zombie Shield
- Completed all challenges in the pillars for your character
- Completed all the skulls and skull shrines
- Then.....You need to wait for a SPIDER ROUND before we begin.
Step 1 - Red Spider at night Shepherd's Delight
When the spider round commences, it doesn't matter on what round it happens or when, you need to get the spiders into an area where you can search through them without killing them, or being killed yourself. What your looking for is a spider with a RED glow or AURA around its body. In order to keep all the other spiders at bay when searching, use the SKULL OF NAN SAPWE to hypnotize them and make them stall.
When you find the spider with the RED glow, mesmerize him then lure him away from the others and kill the remaining spiders which are of no use to you. Through this whole process, DO NOT SHOOT THE RED GLOWING SPIDER.
Then when the red spider is the only one left, lure him over to the PURPLE WATER in the BUNKER AREA and let him get a nice drink of that contaminated irradiated water. Its good for a spiders digestion trust me. The best way to lure the spider is to stay close to him and let him hit you before running a bit away from him and he will follow you like a donkey after a carrot.
Next take him over to the GREEN WATER area in the LAB B SWAMP AREA and let him have a drink of the water to cure what ales him. I know we always say in this world we should never mix our drinks but trust me this spider could drink you under the table, lastly, take him over to the LAB A area where the BLUE WATER is located and allow him to have a tipple.
Step 2 - Lock him up and throw away the key
While in the LAB A area, if you haven't done so already, lower the cage from above or get a team mate to do it for the SPIDER TRAP in this area. You will notice that inside the cage there is no longer a hand as bait to lure the spider into the cage, it is now empty. Allow the spider to follow you around to the cage and he will run immediately into it and the gate will close.
Once he is trapped inside the cage, run upstairs and reel him in to make him go into the lab upstairs. You will notice that the spider is indeed still in the cage but the experimental robotic arm is not extracting anything from him. Next you want to get out the ELECTRIFIED ZOMBIE SHIELD and smash the control panel with it until the cage lowers down again. This time he will go into the underground blue section under LAB A and will not return for a full round or two.
Step 3 - Now we play....the waiting game!
Simply play through the whole round and then the one after it and you will notice that a spider round comes much sooner than you expect! Instead of the usual5 round gap between spider rounds, it will only be about two. What you want to do is simply kill these super crazy spiders which have a red glow emanating from them. The are slightly more dangerous than the normal spiders you have come across as only one or two hits and you go down faster than a sack of potatoes hitting the ground. You will notice they have a red aura or mist around them and when they die.
Once you kill all of them, run as fast as you can over to the LAB A area an raise the cage again where you dunked the spider down into the blue room under LAB A earlier. When you raise the cage by activating the control panel normally, no need to use the zombie shield, you will notice in a few seconds a cocoon will appear within the cage as shown below:
The machine arm will then start extracting some strange red goo from the cocoon and when finished, will allow you to walk up to it and hold the USE button to pick up the SPIDER BAIT.
