Hi guys,

Sometimes taking down massive hordes of zombies requires heavy-duty firepower and in Modern Warfare 3 zombies Operation Deadbolt, the Deadbolt Turret is your go-to solution. As you venture through the zombie wasteland of Urzikstan, you might stumble upon dormant turrets that are awaiting activation through a specialized CIRCUIT BOARD that seems to be missing.

Here's your guide to locating Deadbolt Turret Circuits and activating some automated, heavy  as heck firepower!

Acquiring a Deadbolt Turret Circuit Board

Deadbolt Turrets prove highly effective against various zombie types, making them indispensable for securing an easy victory. However, before you can deploy these formidable defences, you must first procure a Deadbolt Turret Circuit. Fortunately, finding them isn't an overly challenging task if you know where to look.

Circuits are commonly discovered within Aether Caches scattered randomly throughout the map. While their locations can be unpredictable, a reliable method involves purging an Infested structure. Aether Nests and Infested Strongholds, identified as infestation points on your map, are the two types of structures to target to be rewarded these circuit boards to aid you in your survival.

Both structures yield Aether Caches, with a good chance of containing a Deadbolt Turret Circuit. These circuits come in various ammo mod flavours, including Brain Rot and Dead Wire. Upon activating a turret, it utilizes the deposited ammo type, unlocking special effects tied to the chosen ammo mod.

You can also find these quite a lot in the GAS STATION's inside the TOOL BOXES lying around the place is also a good place to check if you are having trouble finding any on the map, or are not equipped properly to deal with an AETHER NEST or INFESTED STRONGHOLD. You can also find them at MERCENARY CAMPS or in MERCENARY STRONGHOLDS.

In the AUTOMATED BACKUP mission on this map, you will need to activate various DEADBOLT TURRETS in the map, the only problem is, finding the circuit boards to activate them.

Activating a Deadbolt Turret in MW3 Zombies

Once you've secured a Circuit, consult your world map for the turret icon's location.

Head over to the turret and interact with it to open a loot menu, allowing you to select and deposit a Circuit.

After closing the menu, the turret springs to life, unleashing a barrage of firepower on any undead threats in its vicinity, swiftly reducing them to pieces.

Deadbolt Turrets remain active for a few minutes before shutting down. To reactivate them, simply deposit another Circuit and close the menu.

These are extremely useful against bosses such as the MEGA ABOMINATION for example, as any time you run away from a boss for a breather or to simply reload or stack up your armour plates, these turrets will continue to dead some massive damage to any targets in its line of site. This means damage can be dealt to enemies even when you are not firing.

Always try to engage a boss near these turrets and activate them. No matter how many are in your squad, this will act like another squad member with an awesome weapon, who can do everything you want it to do except....revive you.

Thanks for reading as always guys.
