Hi guys,

We all know it's not easy in Operation Deadbolt starting from scratch each play through and trying to get money together so that you can upgrade to Pack-a-Punch as soon as possible. As we know in the LOW THREAT zone, Pack-a-Punch costs 5000 point sot upgrade your weapon, 10,000 in the MEDIUM THREAT zone and 15,000 in the HIGH THREAT zone.

In order to get the money together to afford any of these upgrades for Pack-a-Punch, we normally spawn into the map and start off every game almost the same way.

We first choose some missions that we know we can complete successfully and more easily, such as those in the LOW THREAT zone and try to save up the 5000 points needed to get the first Pack-a-Punch upgrade.

We then grind away doing more and more missions in possibly higher threat zones to get higher rewards and get to the next Pack-a-Punch stage which requires 10,000 credits or 15,000 credits to upgrade again....but.....there is a quicker way.

Make Life Easier for Yourself

As zombies are terrible at maths, no bank loans are available within Operation Deadbolt to lend you the money needed for Pack-a-Punch. The zombie financial system has collapsed in Urzikstan....or possibly....never existed...but...her are some steps we can follow in order to get a more powerful upgrade of a weapon, even more powerful than lower tiers Pack-a-Punched weapons, right from the get go, then the next upgrade of that more powerful weapon is a black Friday deal of only being 5000 credits for the first upgrade, rather than 10,000 or 15,000.

As Captain Price says "Let's do thisssss!".

The following method of getting the more powerful weapons should save around 20-25 mins of game time of slogging through endless missions just to Pack-a-Punch a weapon, then before you get to use it to its full potential, time has run out and you need to exfil the map.

Step 1 - Craft and put on your Running Shoes

Before we spawn into Operation Deadbolt, its good to get a running head start on the competition. We can do this by CRAFTING A STAMIN-UP Perk-a-cola before we enter into the map and assign the Perk-a-cola to your inventory before you deploy.

Step 2 - Don't be a tool...use the tool!

Next up to give yourself an edge on the zombie infestation, use a GREEN or BLUE AETHER TOOL to give you that extra bit of bite and damage to your weapons before you spawn.

Step 3 - Get a job...with a Contract! Also with a Dental Plan if Possible!

Now, spawn into the game and use the AETHER TOOL plus the STAMIN-UP PERK and it will give us an edge when starting off. Now we need to complete around 2 contracts, whichever is the closest and easiest ones to do, and collect your rewards from these.

We are trying to get to 5000 points before moving onto the next step, so kill zombies or start looting if your bank balance is not at the 5000 points mark yet.

Once you have 5000 points we will move onto the next step, wall shopping.....no not window shopping....I definitely said wall.

Step 4 - Pay day....let's spend it all!

Now what we need to do is head over to an area in the HIGH THREAT zone and find a LEGENDARY WALL BUY WEAPON to purchase at a grand total of 5000 smackers. This in itself is an awesome weapon and extremely powerful.

This gun is instantly more powerful than if you took a standard gun from when you spawned in, saved up the 5000 points and Pack-a-Punched the gun in a LOW THREAT zone. So it kind of makes more sense to jump ahead a few levels and get a gun of insane power, than grinding through all the stages of making money via contracts just for a Pack-a-Punched weapon.

As soon as you get a weapon like this, this means you can do contracts in higher threat zones much more easier and get bigger and better rewards for completing these.

As we purchased this in the HIGH THREAT zone, level 3 tier, it means you won't need to spend 15,000 on Pack-a-Punch in the HIGH THREAT tier 3 zone to get another power boost added to it.

You can simply head over to the Pack-a-Punch machine in the LOW THREAT zone, tier 1, and Pack-a-Punch it for a mere 5000 credits, saving around 66% if my maths serves me correctly from school.

Thanks for reading as always guys.

Henry
