Hi guys,

Here is how to trigger the INSTA-KILL WISPS in the Call Of Duty Zombies map Astra Malorum.

These are WISPS that circle a player as you collect them and can be fired off by aiming down sights of a gun and pressing the MELEE button to fire them into an enemy.

When it hits normal zombies, its as if it phases them out of existence, as they fade away into nothingness.

It is useful as a backup in certain situations, especially in higher rounds when zombies are a little bit faster and now and again you may have a zero ammo crisis going on.

The good thing is that each player can obtain 9 of these each, as they will respawn around the map and people can pick them up again once they have regenerated to be used over again, which is pretty sweet.

Here is how to obtain the INSTA-KILL WISPS as people in the Call of Duty community are calling them.

What we need to do here is first find one of the WALL LANTERNS which has a YELLOW GLOW to them.

You then need to AIM DOWN SIGHTS with your weapon for several seconds. As you aim at the YELLOW LIGHT LANTERN, you will notice the gun starts to twitch 2 or 3 times.

On the 3rd twitch, a YELLOW WISP / ORB Will pull towards you and start to circle your character.

Once this happens, we need to go around the other 8 UNLIT WALL LANTERN locations on this map and look down the sights of the gun and then press the MELEE button.


This will throw one of the ENERGY ORBS circling you into the UNLIT LANTERN and light it for you.

You will then stare down the sights of your gun when the energy orb is thrown into the WALL LANTERN and it is lit. After a few seconds of staring, the orb will come back to you, while leaving a very dimly lit wall lantern on the wall.

This lets you know you have lit this wall lantern successfully and we need to rinse and repeat this for all of the 8 wall lanterns on this map.

Got a light? Yes....9 actually!

So as explained, in a nutshell:
  • Find the first wall lantern that is lit and pull the energy from it aiming down sights
  • go round all wall lantern locations throwing the energy orb into it by aiming down sights and melee to fire it into to lantern. Then look down sights again for a few seconds and the orb will come back to you. 
  • A small bit of yellow energy, as if the lantern is dimly lit, will remain behind to show you are successful.
  • Rinse and repeat this until all 9 wall lanterns are lit and completed.
  • Then go around the lanterns and aim down sights to pick them all up, the orbs, which you should have a max ammo count of 9 of these at a given time. They will circle your body once collected and if you enter 3rd person mode, you can tell how many you have to use.



These INSTA-KILL WISPS do keep respawning in the entire playthrough once activated and reappear for reuse again every few minutes.







Once you hit a zombie with it, they will almost dematerialise in front of your eyes, slowly erasing them into....well....nothingness.

Hi guys,

Here is how to trigger the GHOST TWINS in the Call Of Duty Zombies map Astra Malorum. These are the twins that we met in the VANDORN'S FARM in ASHES OF THE DAMNED.

It is a very easy side Easter egg to do and we will be rewarded for our efforts in doing so by bringing them back again.


All we need to do to bring the TWINS BACK, and get lots of LOOT in the process, is the following:

Get to a special ravager round to start off

Wait for a RAVAGER ROUND and when this round starts, head over to the MUSEUM INFINITUM area of the map and into the areas which has the SPEED COLA PERK MACHINE and one of the TRAPS used to destroy O.S.C.A.R. in the form of the rocket booster.

You will notice around this room, there are a number of DISPLAY CASES, some with items inside them, some empty. We will be interacting with these cabinets, until we hear a LOUD GHOSTLY SOUND coming from one each round.

On this RAVAGER round, we need to first go up to the following DISPLAY CASE shown in the photo and map location below. When you find it, interact with it on this special ravager round and it will let out a loud screeching sound.




Once the GHOSTLY and HAUNTING SOUND has been played, we can now progress onto the next round, a normal round, where we need to interact with all of the DISPLAY CASES in this room, until we hear the noise again.

We then go onto the next round and rinse and repeat the process again.

Then we do it one more time on the next normal round and we will have completed the steps required in order to get the GHOSTS OF THE TWINS to appear.

Basically in a nutshell we need to:

  • Interact with the first display case to trigger the sound on a RAVAGER ROUND
  • Progress to the next normal round, interact with all DISPLAY CASES until we find one that makes the ghostly sound (changes each play through the normal round display case locations)
  • Progress to the next normal round and do the same with the display cases again
  • Progress to the next normal round one more time and do the exact same interacting with the last DISPLAY CASE
You cannot fail this step so feel free to interact with as many of the display cases as you need to, until you find the one that makes that eerie screeching noise on each normal round.

Here are some of the locations of the DISPLAY CASES in the MUSEUM INFINITUM area:







Once the 1 ravager round and 3 normal rounds have a successful interaction with the noise, the GHOST TWINS will spawn somewhere randomly each time around the map. This will take a total of 4 rounds to activate the twins ghosts to appear.

The first time you interact with them, they will give you the CRYO FREEZE AMMO MOD which is extremely useful, as it is used towards getting the FREE LGM-1 WONDER WEAPON on this map.

The Twins will spawn in randomly around the map from time to time, rewarding you with things like salvage, free mystery perks, legendary weapons etc. so it is definitely worth doing this Easter egg, as it costs nothing to activate it, but the rewards can be huge.

Confirmed locations of the twins appearing so far are:
  • The Observatory Dome area

  • The Veilwalk
