Hi guys,
Here is how to go for a brief SPACE WALK in outer space in the Black Ops 7 zombies map Astra Malorum. You will also get the DG-2 TURRET BARREL as a reward, which you can equip to OL' TESSIE in the main spawn area of the map.
Near the WISP TEA PERK MACHINE, you can look out into the vastness of space from this area and see how beautiful the universe really is. It really is quite breath taking.
The colours are amazingly beautiful, as you look out into the cosmos and admire the rings of SATURN.
If you look out towards the ring of Saturn, you will notice that there is a SPACE ROCKET floating around between the asteroids, which appears now and again, every 20 minutes or so.
You may recognise this space shop, as it is actually the ROCKET SHIP that took off from the ASHES OF THE DAMNED MAP in the ZARYA COSMODROME area of the map.
It has of course run out of fuel and looks abandoned as it circles around Saturn endlessly for the next few thousand years.
What we can do here is get a little closer to SATURNS RINGS, by going on a SPACE WALK.
Head over to the WISP TEA PERK MACHINE and just behind it, there is a small asteroid rock close to it.
Throw a SEMTEX onto this ROCK which is stationary currently. When the SEMTEX explodes, it will destabilise the rocks orbit and it will shift to the left slightly.
You will notice the ROCK has an almost flat surface on it. This is your invitation to WALL JUMP onto this rock and make your SPACE WALK out into the cosmos.
When you jump into space, you will actually be making your way back to the main spawn area. However on the journey there, you will get a very nice surprise in the form of picking up the DG-2 TURRET BARREL which belongs to the pickup truck OL' TESSIE.
As a bonus for completing this space walk, you will also hear a remixed version of the SHANGRI-LA EASTER EGG SONG called "Pareidolia".
As mentioned in my Musical Easter Egg Guide, you can hear the original "Pareidolia" tune played on this map as well, by getting all 3 Mister Peek's Headphones and listening to the full Easter egg song for this map called "Magic" from start to finish on MARS.
Then when it has completed, you stare at the STATUE HEAD BURIED IN THE SAND, to the left of the TELEPORTER on MARS. This is of course an instrumental version you will head on there.
Some nice little Easter egg's seem to come alive when we complete just one action on this map, which is always a bonus and brings smile to our faces, as they are all easy to do, and are free.
When we return to the MAIN SPAWN area, go up to the OL' TESSIE PICKUP TRUCK buried in the dirt and interact with it.
This will show the REPAIRING progress bar and when finished, it will install the DG-2 TURRET BARREL on top of the pickup truck, where it belongs.
You can then use this turret to shoot at zombies and destroy until your hearts content, until it then needs to cool down for periods of time.....then you can start the carnage all over again.
It can come in handy when trying to save bullet or are running on empty, but it mainly works best on CO-OP mode when someone is using it, as when in SOLO, if you use the turret, zombies then start throwing rocks at you from a distance which can slowly chip away your health and make you go down when you least expect it.
