Hi guys,
Here is how to activate the jump scare Easter egg within the Call Of Duty Zombies map Astra Malorum.
Who doesn't love a good jump scare now and again, to stand the hairs up on the back of our necks when we least expect it....right?
How about a JUMP SCARE from the depths of outer space?
This is possibly one of the easiest ones ever to initiate and it all it requires is one easy step.
Are you too scared to observe the night sky?
Head over to the OBSERVATORY DOME area of the map to where the HARMONIC OCULUS is and to the view finder on the left hand side of this machine.
Simply interact with it to look out into space.
We used this view finder to find the SUN as well as MARS in the main Easter egg, however this time we will be looking for a SKULL floating in space. This will change each play through the location of the skull.
This sounds like such a small and tiny, miniscule object to find in the vastness of space.....however....it's actually a lot easier than it sounds.
Simply look around in the view finder, it may take a few goes of coming in and out of it as it times out after a while, until you see a solid coloured gold / yellow / black coloured object in space.
This is the SKULL we are looking for. Simply hold the view finder target on it exactly for about 3 to 5 seconds.
This will then activate the JUMP SCARE which is a huge GHOSTLY IMAGE OF A SKULL, lunging towards you.
It looks like it is going to eat you, or devour the planet, either one of them is equally as terrifying, as both would be game over!
Unfortunately, this jump scare does not give you any rewards by performing it, unlike in some of the other zombie maps.
