I take my hate off to a Nobleman
Now we need to head over to the TRAINING AREA of the map where there is the FLAG to CAPTURE THE WARD, just in front of a partially destroyed building we come through to get into this area from the TEA GARDEN.
What we need to do here is CRAFT 3 DECOY GRENADES, then if you look towards the building you came out of if coming from the TEA GARDEN to get to here, there is a GATEHOUSE style structure you passed through.
If you look above this gatehouse, there are 3 BOARDED UP WINDOWS.
What we need to do here is throw a DECOY GRENADE so that each ones lands outside each one of the 3 boarded up windows. If you need anymore decoy's, there is a crafting table directly below these windows, inside.
We need to do this in quick succession and if done successfully, the windows will all open and a ZOMBIE will appear in the windows, who will start to throw GRENADES down on top of you.
You need to pick up these grenades and then cook them to a point that when you throw them, they will explode as soon as they hit the zombie that has been throwing them at you.
You need to do this for 3 grenades and hit him a total of 3 times, before he dies.
Simples....when he dies, he will drop down the NOBEL'S HAT item for you to pickup.
Along with another note for you to read.
This will have completed this part of the evidence gathering process in this map known as the ACCOMPLICE EVIDENCE we needed to gather.
Now you just need to go to the MEDITATION ROOM area and deposit the EVIDENCE onto the set of SHELVES we placed our previous evidence onto, and it will reveal the SECOND PAINTING on the wall.....success!
Here is a quick review of how our evidence looks so far.
Ashes to ashes, pouch to pouch
Now we need to head over to the FLOWER GARDEN area where we are going to collect another set of evidence on this map which relates to the POISON EVIDENCE it is referred to.
In the flower garden, we will be picking up the MONKSHOOD BUD, which grows just to the left of the broken bridge in this area, on the side the crafting table is on.
It is growing just on the edge of one of the cracks of lava that appear through this section periodically.
Pick it up by holding interact and we the need to take this bud over to the TENSHU ENTRANCE to place in a FLOWER POT, just to the left of the EXFIL BOOTH in this area.
Once interacting with the empty flower pot, you will see the flower being planted inside it.
Now we need to head over to the TRAINING AREA and into the gatehouse that leads us out into where the flag needs to be captured to reclaim the ward.
In the RAFTERS of this burnt out building/gatehouse type structure, there is an EMPTY POUCH we need to shoot down.
It is easiest to shoot down with the CAT WONDER WEAPON, as it creates some splash damage.
Check the images and shoot where is shown in the images and it will fall down, ready for you to pick up.
Now we need to wait until we see a FISSURE appear on the map in one of the areas where the LAVA hardens and then goes back to molten lava again.
You will know when it has spawned on the map as there will be a RED MARKER on the TAC MAP where it will have a RED VEIN almost type of image on it.
You will know when it has spawned in as if you are progressing through certain areas, there will be a lot of SMOKE and ASH falling. So you may have experienced the FISSURE several times and not even known about it until now.
If there is ASH and SMOKE somewhere in an area but you don't see a FISSURE, simply take a zombie at the end of the round and hold onto him, waiting for a period of time, until a FISSURE actually appears.
If no fissure spawns in on that round no matter how long you wait, simply progress to the next round to see if it spawns in then.
When we are in the area of the FISSURE, you will notice that your health PULSES RED with very light damage being done to your health, while in the vicinity of it.
All you need to do here is run around the area, taking the damage, while avoiding the zombies.
There is method to this madness draining our energy, as we need to get our health down to about a third of our HIT POINTS, depending on whether or not we have JUGGERNOG.
The reason we are doing this is because all the time this is happening, we are filling up the EMPTY POUCH with ASH.
We are collecting this ASH because we are going to put the ASH on top of the PLANT in the TENSHU ENTRANCE we planted in the plant pot earlier.
So just keep running around until you see on the right hand side of the screen the VOLCANIC ASH PART go into your INVENTORY.
You should also get a quote from TAKEO about breathing in too much ash.
Checking you INVENTORY ITEMS, you will notice that the POUCH is bulging and filled with ash.
Now head back to the PLANT POT you placed the MONKSHOOD BUD in the pot, then interact with it. You will see a small animation of the pouch sprinkling the ash onto the flower.
Now we need to get buff....not by going to the gym....but by punching a TREE several times that glows around the map.....great way to work on those muscles.
What we need to do here is find a TREE that is ALIVE in any of the areas in this map, which essentially means, has LEAVES on it. There will be a GOLDEN GLOW coming from these trees that can give you the buff that is required.
Simply run up to these trees and melee them several times, usually about 3 or 4 times, and it will activate the buff effect. If you find a tree that is alive but not glowing, melee it several times and it should eventually start to glow also.
Stay in the tree's golden glow for a few minutes and you will get the buff effect.
Here is an example of a dead tree that will not activate the buff effect.
You will notice it has taken effect as your HEALTH BAR will be OVERHEALED and turn a GREEN colour, letting you know you still have a buff ability available.
These trees are located in several different areas and they are:
- Staging Area
- Kitchen's Area
- Training Area
- Tenshu Entrance
Now with this BUFF applied, you need to go over to the TENSHU ENTRANCE of the castle and where the FLOWER POT is located to the left of the EXFIL BOOTH, you need to run around in a CIRCLE in front of it to activate a speed boost.
This will then activate a SPEED BOOST via the FLOWER POWER you have been buffed with from the tree. Once this happens, there will be a mini almost TORNADO like wind kicking up within this circle, blowing lots of PINK LEAVES and PETALS around the place.
This will then make the FLOWER POT ITSELF GLOW a PINK COLOUR.
If running in a circle doesn't activate the buff, expand the radius of the circle you are creating, as it may be too small a circle to activate the buff.
This flower power energy will go into the plant in the flower pot and then eventually after a few seconds, you can pick it up.
Now we can move onto the next step.
Professor Plum did it....in the kitchens.....Cluedo style
Now we need to get the PLUM PITT which is also part of the POISON EVIDENCE track we are currently following.
Head over to the KTICHENS area and in one of the kitchens, in the corner beside a YELLOW GLOWING LIGHT, there is a SHELF which has a SMALL WOODEN BOX on top of it.
Melee this wooden box and it will drop a GREEN PLUM onto the floor.
Stand over this PLUM and jump 3 times on the plum....yes I know you were looking forward to eating it but the fate of the world depends on it this time....each jump you land on the PLUM, will make a squish of juice fly out of it.
After the 3rd jump, the plum should have been totally squashed. If you look at it directly now, you should see you can pick up the item called the PLUM PITT.
Pick this up and onwards we go.
There is something fishy going on here, a fish wearing a puffer jacket?
Now the next evidence piece we will be looking for is the PUFFER FISH in the tracking of the POISON EVIDENCE side of things.
In order to get this however, we will need to interact with what is known as the SCROLLS PUZZLE. In order for the scrolls puzzle to be active, you need to make sure that all of the evidence pieces from the ACCOMPLICE EVIDENCE has been put on the SHELF in the MEDITATION ROOM and the SECOND PAINTING has become visible on the wall.
Only then can we progress with getting this PUFFER FISH item.
So now we have that prerequisite out of the way, head over to the STORAGE ROOMS area of the map and can be accessed through the damaged wall when coming in from the TENSHU ENTRANCE area. It is the room directly below the MEDITATION ROOM.
In this room there is a block of wooden shelves and on these shelves, you will see some SCROLLS set in almost pigeon like holes they have been sorted into. They are just to the left of the YELLOW GOLDEN LANTERN LIGHT that is sitting on the floor.
If you melee these scrolls, you will notice that they go into the holes and some come back out again.
When we melee these scrolls what is happening is:
Any square containing a scroll you melee, causes the SQUARE YOU ARE HTITING, and the ADJACENT SQUARES to change position, from either out to in, or in to out.
An example is shown here if we melee the TOP LEFT SQUARE in the image below, the top left scroll is currently sticking out. The scroll immediately below it is sticking out, the scroll to the right of the top left scroll is currently in.
If we melee the top left square, you will notice that any scrolls sticking in, are now out, and any that were sticking out, have now gone in.
All we have to do here is melee the scrolls until NONE OF THE SCROLLS ARE STICKING OUT.
It's a nice little logic puzzle and not too complicated, will give your brain a nice workout.
Once all SCROLLS are PUSHED in, it will drop 2 things, a part called the PESTLE and the option to READ DEATH RECORDS. Make sure you pick both of these up.
Pick this up and then head back over to the KITCHENS area, to the room where you got the PLUM PITT from. Before doing this next step, make sure you have the BRAIN ROT AMMO equipped to one of your weapons, as it will be needed here. If not, you can use the charged cat wonder weapon attack in this next step.
In the centre of the room there is going to be a concrete table which has a MORTAR sitting on it. Interact with this BOWL and you will notice the PESTLE is placed into it and it will start emitting a GREEN GAS from it, while the PESTLE spins around inside it.
All you have to do here is destroy zombies near it with the BRAIN ROT AMMO MOD on your weapon, or the wonder weapon charged shot, in order to charge up this PESTLE and MORTAR with ZOMBIE souls.
You will notice the green GAS emitting from it and GREEN ENERGY each time a soul goes into it, going up into the air in the kitchens.
Keep filling this with souls until you start to see the PESTLE GLOWING BLUE. Once this happens you can go over and interact with it. The screen will then flash white and there will be a small BLUE GHOST narrative will take place here.
Once the ghost eventually disappears, if you go over to the FAR LEFT wall in the KITCHENS, in front of where you obtained the PLUM PITT, there is a set of CUPBOARDS and SHELVES.
In here you will notice that the PUFFER FISH item is now available to pick up from here.
Pick it up and we can now end this POISON EVIDENCE line of tracking, by going over to the MEDITATION ROOM and depositing the evidence on the shelves, to reveal the third painting on the wall.
Now we can move onto a new set of evidence, called the LOCATION EVIDENCE.
Evidently....we have the correct location....right?
We are now going to find and repair the SAKE CUP by performing KINTSUGI on it. In order to do this however, we need to find pieces or SHARDS of the cup, that are scattered throughout the map.
At First I was in pieces....now I am in Shards
When the Pack A Punch machine was activated within the SHOGUN'S SANCTUM and you destroyed the ONI, if you head down the stairs to where you entered the sanctum, you will notice on the ground, that there is a GREEN SHARD laying on the ground, to the side of the stairs.
It will not prompt you to pick up this shard, simply locate it as shown in the images and hold the interact button to pick it up.
