Nuketown Zombies is set during the events of Moon, and after the end of the multiplayer level from the original Black Ops game. A group of radiation scientists are investigating the Nuketown remains and discover soldiers that have been revived by Element 115 from a nearby Nevada base. The zombie soldiers attack the radiation scientists and turn them, and after receiving a distress signal, the base in Nevada sends in CIA and CDC agents to investigate. Upon arrival in Nuketown the agents lose communication with Hangar 18 and become stranded…setting the stage for Nuketown Zombies.

Map Layout for Shangri La:

Shangri-La is the Zombies map featured in the Annihilation DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is the tenth Zombies map released.

Shangri-La, although not as large as Call of the Dead, is a moderately sized map with multiple areas and tight spots, that it is easy to get cornered in. The original four characters return in this map: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen. Players spawn in front of the temple, starting with the traditional M1911, with the M14, Quick Revive, and the Olympia available for purchase.

Players can open one of two debris, one leading towards the waterfall and the other one leading towards the tunnels and Mine Cart. Both areas lead to the power room, where players have to activate two water levers to activate the water powered generators to get the power on. New features such as the Water Slide and the Mine Cart to help players get around the map quickly. There is also a Mud-Pit Maze near the Water Slide; when the player steps on one of the plates, walls will come down deciding where the player will go, making it a very risky path to take.

And with shiploads of zombie Russian soldiers, scuba divers and sailors that rise out of the frozen ground and icy waters it's not going to be easy, especially considering the deadly surprise that one particular (and somewhat notable) Zombie has in mind.

"Five" is the sixth Zombies map, and the second in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The map is unlocked after completing the campaign on any difficulty, or entering a code on the computer in the main menu. It takes place in The Pentagon, the United States Military Defense building, located in Arlington, Virginia.

Kino der Toten (German for Cinema/Theater of the Dead) is the fifth Zombies map overall, featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The map is automatically unlocked for play at the start of the game, and takes place in an abandoned theater somewhere in West Berlin. The map introduces some new components to the Zombies mode, including Crawler Zombies and the Fire Pit trap. The Thundergun is introduced in this map as a new Wonder Weapon. The cast of Shi No Numa and Der Riese return as the playable characters: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen.

 Hi guys,

Here is another classic zombies map from Call Of Duty World At War called "Der Riese", which was also included in Black Ops Zombies as well with enhanced graphics. 

It was one of the first ones to introduce the monkey bombs, the carpenter perk and the use of teleporters to jump between different areas of the map.....beam me up scotty eh? Or maybe that should be Richtofen? ;)

This was one of my favorite maps from COD World At War and kept me up many a late night I can tell you. Its always fun to go back and play the older maps as you start to notice little things you may not have noticed the first time around which relate to the zombies storyline in other levels. Funny how it all starts making sense once you have played up to Origins and working the story backwards is much easier for me to work out what was going on throughout it.
