Hey guys,

here is the full Easter Egg Guide for the newest zombies map Firebase Z for Call Of Duty Cold War. This is one of the only zombies maps I have actually been able to complete fully without it being too difficult, mainly because there are not tonnes of Easter Egg Steps like some of the other previous zombie maps.

This I think has made people more determined to complete this one as each play through you get very close to the end each time and can test that sweet sweet level completion smell in the air which every gamer loves.

Care for a chat....cup of tea?
Once you spawn into the map, you will spawn in the COURTYARD area. Head over to the ATRIUM and beside the PACK A PUNCH machine you will see Ravenov hiding nice and safely in his zombie proof room, where he is nursing a nasty zombie bite on his arm. 





After talking to Ravenov and getting some background on what is going on, head over to the TRANSPORTER TRANSFER which is on the rooftops of the COURTYARD area and use the TELEPORTER to teleport to the main military base. You should end up in the HELIPAD area....as teleporter technology can have some accidents now and again, you will know this if watching Star Trek, check sure to make sure all your molecules are assembled before moving on.





Did you pay this month's electric bill?
Now we are in the military facility itself, we need to turn no the power. If not entirely sure how to do this, lets have a quick recap. There are 3 AETHER REACTORS in the following areas:

All you need to do is go to each area and walk up to the AETHER REACTOR and activate it at a cost of 500 credits. 

This will then activate 3 AETHER COLLECTORS in the general area. When zombies come into the area, they will attack these collectors. you must defend them before they are destroyed or you will have to start this step over again for that particular reactor. 





You will see a damage bar for the COLLECTORS as well as a CHARGE bar. Charge the collectors simply by killing zombies in that general area and their souls will be collected into the reactor. Once they are fully charged, power for that specific area will be restored.

Once all 3 reactors have been activated and charged, this will restore power for the whole level, meaning PACK A PUNCH will be activated straight away and all the doors that require power will now be open.


Wow you like to talk a lot!
Now that all 3 reactors are online and your electric bill is slowly mounting up towards the price of a bitcoin, head back through the TELEPORTER in the HELIPAD area and go back to talk to Ravenov.....the guy could talk the hind legs off a donkey. 






When you finish talking to him, Peck will get in contact with you and tell you to come and chat to him......wow someone's popular today! 

Head back through the TELEPORTER on the roof of the COURTYARD area to the HELIPAD area and then make your way to the MISSION CONTROL area where Dr Peck's safe room is. Check out Dr Peck's office location on the MAP LAYOUT FOR MISSION CONTROL





Anytime you go up to Dr Peck's Office before talking to Ravenov, you will see metal shutters pulled down on the window. Only when speaking to Ravenov and Dr Peck contacts you will he be willing to pull the shutters up to talk.


Like running a marathon...
Now you need to go back to chat to Ravenov at the ATRIUM area and chat to him one more time, why they cant just do a 3 way conference call is beyond me, however this time when you chat to him, he will give you the RAVENOV ID BADGE. Pick it up and then we can move onto the next step.






After losing about 10 stone in sweat after all that running about, the key card Ravenov has given you will allow you to open 3 lockers dotted around the map in the following locations which contain various compounds:






  • MILITARY COMMAND AREA - Compound P65 - Colonel's Office  - Map layout here










You need to go to each of these lockers and use the key card to open them, then retrieve the compound inside. Once all 3 are retrieved, we need to head to the FIELD HOSPITAL in the BARRACKS AREA....don't worry your not sick or anything, we need to use some of their machinery in the FIELD HOSPITAL to make a new compound, along with a way of also dispersing it as we see fit.


Mixologist 
Normally I feel more comfortable mixing gin and tonics than some unknown chemical I found in a locker somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Once in the FIELD HOSPITAL area, in the corner of the room is the CHEMICAL MIXER MACHINE. Simply press the USE button on this machine and it will start combining the compounds you had collected.

However....things are never easy are they, once the machine is mixing, a wave of HELLHOUNDS will spawn in, who seemingly haven't been fed in an eternity and see you as their next tasty treat. After killing all of these beasts, go over to the CHEMICAL MIXER and you will see that it has turned into the AGENT DELIVERY SYSTEM.







Now pick up the AGENT DELIVERY SYSTEM and we can move onto the next step which is as easy as ABC as it involves going to the OPC area.



To the left of the steps that leads up to the OPC, you will notice by hopping over the railing there is an AIR CONDITIONING UNIT in the corner to the left, see map layout for OPC

Here you will attach the AGENT DELIVERY SYSTEM which will pump TRUTH SERUM into the room Dr Peck is hold up in. I wanted to put a stink bomb in it but Peck was not too happy last time I did it as a joke.






Simply head down to where Dr Peck is and talk to him once more, you will notice PURPLE gas coming down into the room which will make him tell the truth as to what is going on in this map and where he hid the TV remote on me.






He then will chat a bit and start to dance, quite badly, would have liked to see some moon walking going on or possibly a robot dance moves.....but as long as he is enjoying himself its all good. Once he finishes his rambling he will then tell you to go to the DATA CENTRE AREA.


Data makes the world go round
Now we have arrived at the DATA CENTRE, on the upper floor, on the left hand side of the wall, there will be a computer called the MEMORY TRANSFERRENCE STATION which you can interact with that holds MIMIC TRAPS that you can pickup. Check out the DATA CENTRE MAP LAYOUT here

Hold the use button on this machine and it will pickup into your inventory an ESSENCE TRAP. This will replace your TACTICAL SUPPORT GRENADES when you pick it up so you won't have any stun grenades etc when carrying this which is fair enough, you only have one pair of hands.








This ESSENCE TRAP will be used to trap MIMIC SOULS / ESSENCE and be placed inside the trap. We can't just trap any mimic within these traps, we are looking for specific mimics that spawn in specific areas as they used to be people who worked here and we need their memories brought back.
