Kraken Wonder Weapon Elemental Upgrade - Voyage Of Despair Zombies Black Ops 4

Hi guys,

here is how to upgrade the Kraken Wonder Weapon in the zombies map Voyage of Despair in Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. If you thought this gun couldn't get anymore deadlier, your wrong.

First up we of course need the Kraken wonder weapon which can be obtained frmo the Kraken itself by getting the Stokers key and finding the treasure chests and charging them with zombie souls. If not sure how to do this and a little bit lost then check out the Kraken Guide.Otherwise, you can simply spin the mystery box until you get it which might be a bit more costly.

Next we need to upgrade the buildables table by finding 3 different parts scattered around the map. This will then allow us to build the DISTILLATION KIT on the table.

There are also 4 elemental upgrades for the Kraken and when you get into the higher rounds, you will come across different types of elemental zombies that when you kill them, drop different body parts which you can pick up.

Now lets go about about upgrading this mighty beast with some elemental forces behind it...

Piece by Piece
Before we can upgrade the Kraken, we need to find 3 parts in order to upgrade the buildables table within this map. Once this has been built, we can proceed with the upgrade of this beastly weapon.

Part 1 Location
First we need to head down to the 1st CLASS LOUNGE area to find the first part for this upgrade. There are 2 possible places in this lounge that the part can spawn, both on tables in the same room that you can enter through a broken window with a door leading up like a ramp you would launch your BMX off when you were younger.

Spawn Location 1

Spawn Location 2

Part 2 Location
The second part can be located in the GALLEY area which can be accessed from the DINING HALL area. Once you go in from this direction, its on the bench along the left hand side which has a cosy fire brewing in the corner.

This is a funnel type object with a hose attached.

Spawn Location 1

If it is not in this location, then at the very back of the GALLEY area, there are some shelves which the same part may also spawn on.

Spawn Location 2

Part 3 Location
The third and final part is located in the CARGO HOLD area. Don't forget to drain the water from here in order to make it easier for you to look around this area.

The first spawn location in this area is beside where a light shines from the wall onto some boxes located in the middle of the Cargo area, on top of where a lantern normally sits on top of several boxes.

Spawn Location 1

Spawn Location 2
This is just beside where the CAR is located in the CARGO HOLD. Simply look where its headlights are shining, then just to the right of them in the corner, there is a springy thingy sitting on top of the boxes there. Pick it up.

A body part apart from each other
Now we have the pieces of the table ready to upgrade the buildables table, we first need to pick up some elemental material. This material comes from elemental zombies that start to spawn in the higher rounds.

Jormungandr's Fang
One such material from a toxic poisonous type zombie when you kill it, is it drops its heart. Walking up to it and picking it up it asks you to pickup up "CONTCENTRATED DECAY"....which sounds radioactive and very dangerous, but needs must. This acidic zombie will transform the Kraken into "Jormungandr's Fang".

When you get a piece of a zombie, head over to the ENGINE ROOM area and upgrade the buildable table made specifically for this task:

This of course has upgraded the weapon into an acidic version of the Kraken's bullets. It will cost 6000 credits a pop to change the ammo over to another. Dealing more damage than the normal bullets. You can also PACK A PUNCH this ammo as well to deal evener more damage, it just gets better and better.

Breath of Leviathan
You can also transform the ammo to any of the other elemental ammo when you pick up that zombies body part. For example if you kill a FIRE ZOMBIE it drops a part called "CONCENTRATED PLASMA".

When you pick this up simply head back to the ENGINE ROOM area and the upgraded buildable table and transfer to the new bullet type:

This will transform the Kraken into the "Breath of Leviathan" with its insane flame power added to it.

Grip of Akkorokamui
Next up if we kill a ice/frozen type of zombie, its drops the "CONCENTRATED PURITY" part. take it to the table and upgrade it, it changes the Kraken to the "Grip of Akkorokamui".

I think your starting to see a pattern developing here on how it works. One last ammo type is called "CONCENTRATED RADIANCE" which can be picked up from killing the yellow electrical style zombies.

Dischord Buildable Guide for Zombies In Spaceland - Infinite Warfare

Secrets: Elemental Weapon Upgrades -- Turning On Power -- Pack A Punch -- N31L Upgrade --

Buildables: SETI-COM -- Face Melter -- Shredder -- Headcutter -- Exquisite Arcane -- Dischord

Easter Egg Guide: Part 1 -- Part 2 --
Hey guys,
here is how to build the awesome Dischord Wonder Weapon in Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare's Zombies In Spaceland. This awesome Wonder Weapon makes zombies break dance on their head before exploding. Their moves would put Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Lopez to shame on the dance floor. The only downside is the zombies just can't get enough of the dischord's infectious beats and can't stop dancing. One side effect of constant dancing is, they spontaneously combust....who would have known?
Lets figure out how to get this funky weapon below.

Step 1 - You can't wear chords to a disco!

There are three parts required to build the Dischord which include:
  • Shiny Disco Ball
  • An Expensive Ruby
  • Old  Battery

Everything you need for one hell of a party on the dance floor. these parts can be acquired in any order you like. Now lets get out there and hunt these bad boys down to create the greatest disco fever these zombies have ever known!

Disco Ball Part Location - Dance Fever

This is probably the easiest part to acquire, not to mention the shiniest, but also the longest to get. To get the Disco Ball. find the souvenir machine located outside of the arcade. To make the souvenir machine to reward you with the disco ball, place one coin of each color into it. Coins can be red, blue, or green and are dropped randomly by killing zombies. you can also input these coin colours in any order into the machine, they just have to be 1 red, 1 blue and 1 green....simples.

Starting with the Disco Ball is recommended because this step is best done while accomplishing other tasks around the map, such as activating the power switches in each of the areas or while finding the Pack-a-Punch portal / room. You will be killing zombies non stop once the game starts to it will be easy to get a variety of different coin colours quite easily, especially if playing on four player, as there are a lot more zombies spawning and a lot more dying at the same time. Getting a coin on solo will take a bit longer but on 4 player, should be a doddle.

One advantage of turning on the Pack A Punch portal early one while looking for coins is that it will be needed in a later step of obtaining the Dischord Wonder Weapon build. "Get things done, ASAP, stay ahead.....stay alive" is my motto. If you have already turned on the power and built the Pack-a-Punch before getting all three coins to drop, keep the Disco Ball requirements in the back of your mind and move on to the next parts.

Battery Part Location - Full of Energy

Before you pop down to your local supermarket and cheat by simply buy a packet of batteries....please don't....because they will not sell you any batteries....why?.... because your not wearing sunglasses! You have got to be cool to buy batteries otherwise, what's the point?

You need to obtain the yellow sunglasses that get dropped randomly by killing tons of zombie hordes and stealing their cool shades from the 80's. When you see them, simply hold the use button to pick them up as you will not automatically pick them up when walking over them. The sunglasses turn the film you are in into a Black and White movie, which help to reveal hidden objects dotted around the map.
With these too cool for school shades equipped, you will need to find 5 targets that will be randomly scattered throughout the map. Each play through will be a different set of 5 locations and its very rare the spawn locations are always the same through each play through. The targets will appear white and red coloured, the same as the ones on the roller coaster ride you must shoot. However these targets CAN ONLY BE SEEN by wearing the cool retro shades.
Below are the possible spawn locations for the targets.
  • Behind the prize counter in the arcade
  • Top right of the shop window in arcade back alley
  • Above the arcade generator box on the ceiling
  • Above the spawn ATM
  • The roller coaster track, seen from the maintenance hall
  • In the garbage can next to Demon Attack in the arcade
  • Underneath the Spaceland arch in spawn, on the bush
  • In the Super Mega Claw machine, in the arcade
  • Underneath the walkway bridge near Crater Cakes
  • In the upstairs arcade window
  • To the left of the big Triton sign, near the monsters mouth
  • On the moon wall of the bumper cars, left of the astronaut with the American flag
  • Behind the cardboard Dischord alien

These are the 13 possible spawns we have seen so far, only five of them will have targets so you need to check all of them until you find enough. Shoot the targets you find, and once you shoot five the Battery will appear on the dance floor in the arcade. The batteries moves on that dance floor are electrifying! Sorry couldn't help myself with a pun.

Ruby, Ruby , Ruby, Rubyyyyy

As with any shiny precious gemstone, the Ruby will need quite a bit of tickets to obtain as well as the Pack-a-Punch room unlocked. Purchase an Arcane Core from the "Weapons of the Future" machine truck located around the map for 300 tickets, its not cheap but it will be worth it in the end trust me.

Now plot course to the Pack-a-Punch room and engage the UFOs on the table in the Pack A Punch room to release them into the map. One UFO will fly to the arcade and hover around the dance floor. Train together a lot of zombies and activate the dance floor trap, if you killed enough with the trap, the UFO will leave and start a new path.

Follow around the UFO and kill zombies with the weapon equipped with the Arcane Core you purchased. Once you kill 25  to 30 zombies, the venom upgrade will appear underneath the UFO as a floating green orb. Pick the orb to upgrade your weapon. This infects the zombies with a poison when you shoot them and deals damage to them even after you have stopped shooting them.

The reason you need an Arcane Core weapon with the venom upgrade is to shoot out a part of the hidden machine in the Space Croc mouth. To find the hidden machine, you first need to buy the golden teeth from the arcade for 300 tickets. Next, you need to lead a Brute into the croc trap. Once the trap closes on top of the Brute, the croc’s teeth will break. Place your golden teeth in the broken spots to open a door in the back of the croc’s mouth. If your unsure about this step, check out my guide on building the Wonder Weapon called the Face Melter, which all use this step.
You will see the machine in this door, with 4 slots that can be shot at. You will need to shoot the third from the left, the Ruby will be inside. Be careful to not let the trap close on you, otherwise you are the crocodiles next meal. Pick up the Ruby and your well on your way to finishing building this awesome weapon.

Step 2 - Behold....the Dischord.....and zombies bustin' a move!

Now that you have all three parts, head over to the cardboard cut out of the Dischord alien, located just across from the prize counter in the arcade. The parts will need to be placed in the cardboard cut out, one at a time by holding the activate button. The Dischord will make zombies breakdance on their head before exploding, which is perfect for defending the SETI-COM.

Still not sure how to get the Dischord? Then check out MrDalekJD's video below which is really easy to follow:

Exquisite Arcane Weapon Upgrade Tutorial - Zombies In Spaceland

Secrets: Elemental Weapon Upgrades -- Turning On Power -- Pack A Punch -- N31L Upgrade --

Buildables: SETI-COM -- Face Melter -- Shredder -- Headcutter -- Exquisite Arcane -- Dischord

Easter Egg Guide: Part 1 -- Part 2 --

Hi guys,

this is the upgrade guide on how to upgrade your weapons to have the Exquisite Arcane weapon upgrade attached to them, which is kind of a purple wisp that emits from the end of your upgraded gun. When you shoot zombies, the zombie will start emitting a purple wisp from their bodies and this wisp will continue to deal damage to zombies for a set amount of time from the moment you blew a hole in him. Sort of like a venom, slowly killing the zombie.

It will get you the completed sticker pack collection for this level as well and the two things you will need to have done first before you get your hopes up about attaining this upgrade, is complete the MAIN EASTER EGG and MAIN BOSS FIGHT (This is debatable as it works for some without completing this step).

It sounds like a great upgrade to have, but on higher rounds it really doesn't do very much damage to the actual zombies, and this has questioned players of Infinite Warfare Zombies as to why it is actually in the game at all. It takes a lot of work to get, is it worth it? .....only you can decide. Personally throwing your shoe at the zombie would do more damage than this upgrade.

Either way, lets find out how to get this weapon upgrade.

Step 1 - Elemental Upgrade Dear Watson....

For the first step, you will need to have acquired one of the ELEMENTAL UPGRADES for at least one of the wonder weapons. It can be any wonder weapon you like, pick your favourite one based on colour, destructiveness etc., get the steps done for it, upgrade your gun and we will then proceed to step 2.

Check out the ELEMENTAL UPGRADES GUIDE on how to attain the elemental orbs that are stored within the UFO's that float around the map once they have been activated from within the Pack A Punch Portal.

Step 2 - A Brute Becomes a dentist

You will then need to perform the steps that exist for the Wonder Weapons, which is initially placing the Gold Teeth from the Arcade Prize Counter into the Giant Crocodile mouth, after a Brute has smashed its teeth in, for each one. If you are unsure about what step I mean, check out the Wonder Weapon guide to obtain the Face Melter and it should become clear.

Once you have got the coloured Crystal part from the machine that appears inside the crocodiles mouth, you can take it directly to the Pack A Punch room and place it into the strange green coloured machine in the room just to the left of the portal you enter from. Whatever colour of element you place into the machine, you will receive the same colour of card coming back for your sticker pack collection. So yellow element returns a yellow card for example, easy!

If you have built the wonder weapons for this play through, you simply just need to go to Pack A Punch and drop the coloured crystal orbs that you picked up from the crocodiles mouth into the machine to retrieve your designated coloured card. This is because you already have picked up the orbs previously when building those wonder weapons....duhh....I know right!?

WARNING: Shields up..... red alert! Whatever element you place in the machine in the Pack A Punch room will come off the weapon you are currently using. This means that you can go and collect the other orb crystals from within the Crocodiles mouth and one by one, place them into the Pack A Punch room's machine for more awesome stickers.

Step 3 - Purple rain.....purple rain.....only its not raining

Once you have collected all the elemental upgrades, shot the machine at the crocodile's mouth each time with the elemental upgraded weapon, collected the crystal for that specific wonder weapon and dropped it into the machine in the Pack a Punch Room.....*wheezes for breathe* can't believed I managed to say that all in one breath.......you will notice a purple wisp flash above the machine in the Pack A Punch room and head out the portal.

Now all you need to do is head back to the crocodiles mouth and low and behold, your Exsquisite Arcane Core Attachment is ready for be purchased for a total of 2000 points. It will be glowing like a purple elemental wisp. Attach it to your weapon and since its clobberin' time, go kick some serious zombie ass soldier with your new arcane core!

If still unsure about the steps to get this upgrade, simply watch MrDalekJD video below as its very easy to follow:
